I have a confession to make: I am exclusively attracted to people of a certain exotic gender identity, even though I do not personally identify as such. Although I am perfectly comfortable with my own orientation, it very often happens that the people I'm attracted to seem to find my interest more or less... problematic, to say the least. Despite always paying attention to decorum and good manners, I've had my flirtatious but polite advances hastily dodged or deflected time and time again – not to mention being called a "chaser" and getting accused of "attempted assault" in some of the more egregious cases! Frankly, I find this kind of treatment hurtful and discriminatory: it is simply wrong and unfair to ascribe impure intentions to someone on the basis of identity alone – you should judge me by my actions, not by the targets of my attractions!

I really, really hope there's a sweet and trusting helicopter-kin out there who's open-minded enough to accept me as I am. On the off-chance that there are unprejudiced and attractive apache-kins reading this thread, I'm attaching my picture as an invitation for a casual bout of "aerobatics." ;)

While helicopter kin are my mortal enemies, I much prefer this thread to be about their depravity rather then yet another thread which will descend into sexuality/gender issues hell and get destroyed or become a tumblr style circlejerk.

If it's any consolation, Max™, I feel like I ruined a thread about people who ironically identify as rotary aircraft with a serious response to the OP.

I may be internet tonedeaf or insufficiently hip, but I can appreciate it either way. :D

But aren't jet turbines just rotary vanes in a different configuration?

Vehicle classifications like that are an artificial label constructed by society, and only serve to divide society into Us and Them. Can we not just treat everyone as an Aircraft above all, whatever their components or classifications may be?
