-How can I tell if a skill/attribute has been maxed out?
-Can you quit without saving?

A skill that is maxed is GRANDMASTER Title
An attribute becomes SUPERHUMAN/DWARVEN

And yes, but then you lose everything. Alt f4, or Task Manager.

I'm pretty sure Alt-F4 doesn't work.

Personally, I use a batch file containing

taskkill /f /im "Dwarf Fortress.exe"

To quit without saving, if you have dfhack, just close the dfhack window, it closes df too.

Doesn't work for me. The X on my dfhack window is grayed-out.

You could bind a hotkey to the "die" command:

Code: (dfhack.init) [Select]

keybinding add Ctrl-Alt-Q die
Or just enter "die" into the dfhack terminal or in-game prompt (Ctrl-Shift-P.)
