I got a free room. 'Up the stairs, door on your right' ...Where?

Do I take the one that would be on the right if I were looking from my falcon character's point of view, or do I take the one that's closer to the east?

The smaller room would be on your right, it'll be from your characters pov, otherwise he would have south the southern/southeast room.
