Quote from: Character description 'sketch'
They are an ebony-skinned androgyne. A faded battle-scar, cutting from the top-right to the bottom-left of their face, is worn proudly. They stand at a mere 4 feet 11 inches. Dark brown, almond-shaped eyes peer out intensely. Their eyebrows are unexpectedly manicured, and thick, lustrous black hair, doubly braided on their crown, intertwine into a single braid. Balancing out their feminity is their lithe, athletic build, and rugged scars all over them. Their feet are prone to impatiently tapping on the ground as they seem to sizzle with energy.

Mouth's a little lopsided, but it looks pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of a Japanese Hannya.

Quote
The Cult of the Beastlords, An Outsider's Perspective

DISCLAIMER: Due to the factors hindering researches into the Beastlord, much of the information here are conjectures and extrapolation from observation of the Fortress of the Beastlords’ inhabitants.

All information here is presented as the truth, though there may be errors of the memory or interpretation. If the reader finds themselves skeptical of the information, the author fully encourages them to make their way to Great Rock (armed, of course) and find answers on their own. After all, one learns best by doing.

15 Sarapin, 738 AF

The first encounter of the author with the Cult was a personal one, spurred to by their conspirations with Rimba, a Minian pygmy priest. To put a long story short, Rimba had been forcing his chieftain to send pygmies after young adventurers, kidnapping them and harvesting their organs for the Cult of the Beastlords.

The reader may wonder how the author had come across this plot. To put it simply, the author nearly became part of the harvest. Thanks to the intervention of Trema Xanatov and Drathi Azon, they were able to escape.

20 Daedalan, 738 AF

The kidnappings have been linked to the Cult of the Beastlords, which reside in a fortress in Great Rock. Though the author has yet to understand the cause for the organ harvest, it had been deemed necessarily to put an end to it. Utilizing the Fortress’ own mechanism and resources, the Head Priestess, Hellitha, was slain.

Though she returned from the Hall of Death not long after, the kidnappings had stopped.

16-24 Aeguary, 738 AF

Having been warned that the cultists may be hostile, the author had entered with considerable caution. The guards at the entrance of the fortress attacked before any discussions could be had, but they were quickly subdued. The commotions had drawn the notice of Bearnath, a strange humanoid creature possessing both the features of many animals, and of a human. Its claim to be the leader of the cultists were confirmed by the other cultists, and did not seem to be as hostile. When asked, it simply replied, “Soon, the Beastlord will be summoned, and we will prey upon your kind. Savor the time you have left, wretch.”

This was taken by the author as an invitation to explore the Fortress. Some cultists still lashed out at them, but they were quickly put down.

16-24 Aeguary, 738 AF Cont.

Adorning central hall of the Fortress were four murals. Though the workmanship was crude, the art proven somewhat informative. When asked about the true meaning of the murals, Bearnath simply said, “It means that the things on the murals will happen. Stop bothering me!”

The murals were variations of the same central theme of a misshapen creature, referred to by the cultists as The Beastlord. Possessing a chimerical combination of other predatorial features, it was the apex of the food chain, terrorizing other animals, and even mortals. The reason that a collection of mortals would worship such a being would be quickly made apparent by the saying, “The Beastlord will avenge me!” commonly shouted by the cultists whenever they have been wronged. Though the author would like to refrain from any philosophical stance, such behaviour of performing self-destructive acts of devotion to malevolent greater beings can be seen throughout Achaea. It is the duty of the author’s city and their House to oppose such ideals.

20-22 Miraman, 738 AF

As previous visits by the author have been complicated by ambushes during their research, the author had brought along their friend, Rubber Ducky Bakkla of the Carnivalis Institute of Jestering, to help with gathering information and dissuading unnecessary violence. Though violence of the unnecessary kind still occurred, more headway was made in learning of the cultists’ way of life.

A Beastlord cultist (it was not clear whether ‘Beastlord’ can be used to referred to them, seeing as their Fortress was named the Fortress of the Beastlords, yet they worship a singular ‘Beastlord’) can be spotted by their robes which obscure all their features. Most of the cultists seemed to be common mortals, all wearing masks at all times. Even in sleep, these cultists would keep their masks on.

Called the Masks of the Beast, these masks are sought after by some Occultists as Karma items. Thus it can be assumed that the cultists of the Beastlord have a lifestyle similar to Occultists, such as would require creation of karmic items.

Within the Fortress exists an exclusive sect, led by Hellitha, the High Priestess. The author and her have met before. It did not endear them to her. When questioned about the structure of leadership within the Fortress, Bearnath threatened the author with extreme bodily harm. The difference of the normal cult and the sect, which will be referred to as the members Temple of the Beastlords, may not be readily obvious to an outsider. From the author’s observation, it would appear that excluding Bearnath, the normal cultists do not transform themselves into bestial forms.

The members of the Temple seemingly possess claws, or rather, talons. This appear to be a universal trait amongst them,  They do not possess most of their faculties, but were able to make basic conversation, as well as perform magic.

Key members of the cult, at the time of this writing, cannot be easily separated between the Temple members and the followers of Bearnath. However, all but Bearnath seems to be allied directly to Hellitha.

Achaea.

Also, this is the start of an iterative drawing, so I'm not actually just going to draw a stickman and say this is enough.
