yeah at this point ozeloti should be finding what animal they like and sticking [OUTSIDER_CONTROLLABLE]  on to them.
Or redownloading Dwarf Fortress. There's no way vanilla DF would just refuse to make animal-man pops 6 times in a row on standard worldgen.

No matter what I do, there's no animal people. I have made more than 6 worlds, and none with them.

Can i ask what settings (and mods) you run the game with please? It'd help.
I don't have any mods, just a graphics pack.
I have tried different settings, like small world, large world, normal, more civilizations, etc.

Which graphic set are you using?

My set includes optional raws to remove all non-tribal animal men (bullet point four).

If you are using my set, don't use the optional raws.
If the bfx_ReadMe.txt isn't clear, don't use the set at all.

I have the latest version, and I have no mods.
If you are using any graphic set that changes the vanilla raw files, you are using a modified version of vanilla (i.e. a mod).

Just to make sure, you can export world data ("p" in legends mode) and check the exported file to see if there are any animal people inhabiting the world.
