Priority settings for buildings.
« on: July 29, 2016, 01:34:14 am »

I dug a lot in my current fortress and cut a lot of tress, so my dwarves are usually busy hauling.
If I need something dug and they're all hauling, setting the dig to priority 1 will usually make dwarves with the mining labor go straight to the dig site after dropping off their burden at a stockpile.
However buildings, I've found, are different.
A ghost showed up because I didn't bury his body (slight oversight on my part), and I ordered my dwarves to build a coffin at the mausoleum I had dug.
Except that they don't build ANYTHING, and the ghost is still wandering around doing Armok knows what.

Buildings need priority settings, plain and simple.

It's not like an idea has to make sense for people to cling to it.

A work around this would be making sure at least one or two dorfs (in case one of them is asleep) have the building labor enabled and nothing else. Gives peasents an use.

But yeah, this would make things easier.
