Diplomacy: Youngstown: Spring 1903: Retreat phase.
« on: August 16, 2016, 04:50:44 pm »

Diplomacy is a game of negotiations, alliances, promises kept, and promises broken. In order to survive, a player needs help from others. In order to win the game, a player must eventually stand alone. Knowing whom to trust, when to trust them, what to promise, and when to promise it is the heart of the game. Remember, you are a diplomat first, a commander second.

I've decided to try and run another game of Diplomacy, but I'd like to know if people want to play Vanilla Diplomacy, or one of the many (pre-made) variants available. Please submit your preferences here.
We're playing Youngstown, a variant that covers the entirety of Eurasia!

I'd be good with Youngstown, Ancient Mediterranean, and Octarine, in that preference order, with or without Wing Units.

I think you meant 'Siberia' for Asia, not 'Serbia' :P

I'd be happy with any of them, Octarine looks like the most fun though.

No preference, though I'd be interested in playing.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Since there was no clear winner, I've narrowed the field down to the top four, Ancient Mediterranean, Asia, Octarine, and Youngstown.
Vote!

0/10 you're repeating the exact same mistakes

Ptw though.

Kot finishes his morning routine in the same way he always does, by burning a scale replica of Saint Basil's Cathedral on the windowsill.
