Sneaktunnels, a CATastrophic dungeon
« on: August 21, 2016, 07:25:30 am »

Ok, so this gonna be a succession where only 7 players play and change turns. Each player will have a starting dwarf and the first goal of this succession is to keep yours (and others too) dwarfs alive, if your dwarf dies somebody else from the waitlist takes your place. Second goal is to make a fortress that relays on traps but is open for from below and above (military can be used) at all times - a dungeon. But there is a but, every civ is hostile and sieges are turned on from the beginning! Otherwise normal succession rules apply. You cant use a tileset, but please change back to ASCII when you post the save. We will be using any new version that shows up as long as It doesn't bug on the old save.
Anybody interested in playing?

I'll take a turn.  Third or fifth slot please.  And what version would this succession game be on?

EDIT: Fifth it is for me then, since Arcvasti wants third.

No reason someone can be dorfed only once. An entire army of Carefulrogue! All in one coffin, it seems.

I can go second, if that pleases you!

It wouldn't be the first time I've played right after Gwolfski.

Do you have an embark selected?

It might be a bit harsh to lose your spot if the current overseer makes a mistake and gets you killed, but then again that sounds like an appropriately hardcore style of play.

I'd like to be in on this. Third slot, preferably.

It might also be nice to state the version and tileset being used in either the OP or the title.

Count me in for the sixth position, I'm not capable of running the fortress in the first (cause it'll die :P)

Ok, so School turned out to be much more time taking than I thought (First day of school for me) and I'm also sick. Could any of you setup the game? An embark with all civilizations and a necro tower. You would also have to do some modding as said in the OP. Would anyone be up to this challenge?

Working on it right now, I am planning to use 43_04 unless anyone currently signed up has an objection. I will make a new thread and link it here, once I'm finished, which will probably be by midmorning :D

Wait, but why a new thread? I can run this, just don't have time to setup the game.

oh shit new version, how did I miss that?

Wait, but why a new thread? I can run this, just don't have time to setup the game.

ummmm ok, that's fair. Also it looks like I'm going first.

Since you're running the thread, you should have the responsibility of choosing the fortress name. Let me know so I can set it on embark, then I will start the first year (and provide you with dwarf bios, of course). I imagine something dungeon related? You could leave it up to me I suppose but that's a lot of pressure ;_;

I've found a few potential sites, including one with a tower nearby.
