I've got the save
Edit: HERE WE GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the crazy glass guy quit and put me in charge, Not sure how smart that was but too late now.... The first thing I did was look around at what dwarves were assigned what and it seems that none of the other overseers knew how to specialize labors... so after fixing that I stop glass production and then designate a large room to be mined so we can get more gems...... Who said that? anyways.... I then saw a dead goblin at a random point of the fortress with a bunch of stuff on it and unforbid a large number of things along with designating some trees to be chopped because we might need the-- OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH LEVERS aw... that didn't do anything at all *grumbles about the lack of random flooding of things* but I decide- must find workshop

need gypsum need bone hehehehehehee
Huh... I created an artifact, wonder what it is.... oh.... not very cool in my opinionneeds more gems.... WHO KEEPS SAYING THAT!? anyways...  MORE LEVERS!!!!!! aaaand those did not much either... wait one of them RAISED A RANDOM BRIDGE WALL THING PULL IT AGAIN!!... NO TRADER DON'T STAND THERE aaand there he goes... in other news Autumn arrived and thus so did some migrants (all of whom I suspect to be vampires) and a caravan... traded some of our useless crap (WHY DO WE HAVE BEE VENOM BARRELS!?) and go back to mining YES YES YES.. but I later learn that a large group of dwarves has gotten blocked off from the rest of the fortress.... somehow, as far as I can see there is a perfectly good way out but since they are starving I help mine through a wall to get to them . I have also added more kitchens and gem workshops and we also have a vampire... I also made the best statue ever

- Heh. Labours. The bane of overseers.

- Ominous

- A door? Awesome. Are you going to run a chamelon demon breeding farm?

- You could install bee venom into waterguns, but I think it needs to be injected, not smashed.

- one vampire? Eh. Could be useful.

- A statue? That's not goin....That's a lot of cats. Going to need to express them in cat notation on the statue.

How does one commission a statue in the first place?

In the workshop, after ordering a statue to be made, go into details and create a new image, then save it (can later use it as preexisting image).

You can also do it through the manager screen, though I think the workshop interface works better.

Can that be done in 42.06?

Press "q" then hover over the workshop (just like if you were gonna place an order)

then use the "-" "+" keys to select the order for the statue

then press "d"

then it's just like creating your group's symbol for embark...

and yes it works in the current version because it was introduced in this (or the last) version

In other news, I'm pretty sure the mayor is the vampire....
(OOC news: The mayor is currently the only one without a sleep or eat message AND is complaining about alcohol problems and thus is my suspect, the only oddity is she/he has NO RELATIONSHIPS other then a deity. Also, tinypic anti-robot stuff is getting REALLY annoying

- That's ludicrious amount of space. Even cat box has more than minimum distance to ensure cats meet.

- New housing looks like something out of dwarven logic. Needs a lever.

- There needs to be frolicking on the grass.

- A vampire....And you designated individual bedrooms with the shortest possible distance from general hallway to bed.

Sounds like you like vampire :P

Hope the rhino is pregnant.

- I used to use tinypic, but switched to imgur for auto-upload script.
