Just an FYI guys, there is a reason I usually stay away from grazers (I'm really bad at making sure they don't starve to death XD)

I stop glass production

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?

Glass is the very fiber of my being, my one great skill. It's heresy to stop production, and you know how angry I get when I don't get my glass! Why would anyone ever just step on another person's plans and aspirations like that? I-I mean, I suppose it's fine if it's for the greater good, but there are many reasons why we should have warehouses full of glass, and if we wanted to get down to the logistical purposes of it all...*ramble-ramble*
What was that about a war rhino? That sounds like fun, just as long as it doesn't break any glass.

Glass ramble aside, it's looking pretty good so far. Nice job, and I hope things don't flip out on you like they did Taupe. For your Tinypic problems, I like to use Gyazo. You just have to use the 'Direct' link option after hitting the share button on the image's page.

Journal of Airith

It's been rather slow as of late. After my tenure as Overseer of this fortress, I haven't done much. I manage the books and records here and there but I mostly keep to myself. At least two of my brethren from Doomforest have made the journey here with me. PhychoAngel has recently done his tenure, but, in an odd twist he hath deviated from the holy profession of a Soap-maker and decided to dedicate the entire socioeconomic structure of the fortress to glass making of all things. While my visit to Archcrystal taught me the value of Glass, I keep tripping over blocks of it everywhere.

I quietly whispered a suggestion that we stop making it into the new overseer's ear, a suggestion that he heartily agreed with. Everyone is happy to do stuff that does not revolve around glass production.... everyone except Angel, whose been stomping around muttering about the mystical properties of glass and something about awakened Gods and fallen civilizations and whatnot.... I honestly wonder if he's alright in the head....

In other news, I'm currently working on a hand-drawn map of this world. I've always been partial to cartography and have recently found a knack for it. I'll draw a copy and post it in the main hall for all to see when I'm done.

Well, duty calls. I'll try to write more entries if things liven up some. So far everyone has been quiet.... too quiet. I haven't heard from Imic since our first tour of this world. Nor any other of our Doomforest brethren. I hope they are alright.

@scrouge78: That is helped if you make your meeting areas on places where vegetation will grow. Grazers will accumulate there and eat grass on their own:

@Ryukan: Actually doing currently a population bomb to obtain soap bars for construction. There's something neat about ocean soap fortress constantly washed by waves.

Looking forward to map.

Question: Should I keep playing until summer (which was when I got the save)?

Lol@Taupe.

Who's our new baron?

You used album links - you need to use direct images.

If it is just 1 image, can easily fix by adding i. before imgur and .png at the end.

You had just two cats, maybe one or both of them are gay, asexual or perhaps distracted?

Tavern....It provides few more happy thoughts, but it has it's woes as well. I think it is entirely possible to run without, moreso than temple. (Perhaps with just regular old meeting area - makes idler count more accurate).

Yay elf caravan! More lambs to starve?!

Heh. Armored Braids. Amusing.

Hm, quick vampire detection method...Do you have a new mayor? Check them.

Otherwise, I like to make giant or medium dormitories.
