It's okay dude, I forgot too and had to look up the language dictionary on the wiki. Apparently it means soil in goblin.

I'd like a turn, a dwarf, and a version number please.

I don't think I ever got a turn in Doomforest, and I am not related to SanctumCoal.

You gonna have to wait for that turn request, Rule number 6.

As for your dorfing, sure, I'll get right on it.

Version is LNP 0.43.03 r-04

(OOC: sorry for the delay, laziness as usual)
Journal of Airith, 26th Granite, 1050

Well we set to our task with a will, Athel told me to chop as many tress, then she handed a plan of the foundations of our fort to our miner and he, along with Athel, grabbed a pick and started.

Spoiler: Farm Level (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Entrance (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Main Floor (click to show/hide)

Side note: I feel a presence here in this place, something in the shadows that does not wish to be seen...

With the onset of Summer and the close of Spring, we have already finished a third of the digging.
Spoiler: Progress (click to show/hide)

I asked Airith the purpose of the big entrance and the two little rooms off to the side, she told me that it was a foyer to welcome guests, and a kiling ground for invaders. If we ever come under siege, their will be a draw bridge that will raise, and thos etwo rooms will have fortifications engraved in them to allow marksdwarves to shoot whatever besieges us. I guess it sounds good enough to me, I'm not the leader.

Spoiler: Summer (click to show/hide)

End of Spring

What's with the pillar in the center of the stairway? It's blocking my hauling route!

Looking at that entrance length, it seems like you're leaving most of defence to next overseer? Open air depot and all.

Yay for vampire that never has alcohol deprivation?

Not the fact that he is a vampire, its the fact of,

"Hey guys, I'm a vampire here to secretly suck your blood, but hey, we're just mortal enemies right?"

He doesn't live long, in fact, after that, I've used all the goblin bards that show up as target practice for our military, the goblins, with a few giant tortoises, have made our militia rather amazing

Ok, we have a valid candidate for my request, if we can recruit him.

That is a nice fortress! I feel ashamed at my shoddy craftsdwarfship now.  Drawing them underground before killing them makes a lot of sense, good chokepoint, easy to collect their stuff / better range for your crossbow tossers

I'm not sure tossing crossbows is how they usually operate. I'm also not sure one should look up to the design and structure of a Doomforests sequel.

Don't worry, won't happen again :P
