Yes, I saw that!
How's the whole design a settler thing gonna work? Surely not everyone who pays can get their own settler designed in the game?

I should go into more detail (thanks for that!). You pick a hairstyle, hair colour, skin colour, name, profession and race from a list of choices (think of a character creator in a RPG) and then they show up in games. It's not a custom-designed thing (though the top-level pledge to create a new race is).

Backed. Looks like a very doable goal for this one.

Backed as well. I don't normally do early access or kickstarter any more but I have a good feeling about this project

Is Rimworld really not an inspiration for this game?
It looks SO much more like Rimworld than any other other DF-type.

November's dev update is now live at http://kingunderthemounta.in/november-2018-update-full-steam-ahead/

The dwarves now need to eat! Unfortunately for them, the only thing they can "eat" right now is soup. Baking bread is coming soon...

Now imagine a poor dwarf who's least favorite food in the world is soup, in a world where there is only soup.

"Urist has been miserable lately. He had to sleep on the floor lately. He has eaten soup recently. He was attacked by a monster recently. He has eaten soup recently. He admired a fine *granite bracelet* recently. He likes sterling silver, pig iron, and granite. He absolutely detests soup and cannot remember the last time he had anything else."

Haha! It probably will be a mechanic when there's more variety to stop dwarves getting upset from constantly eating the same thing. On that note I'm planning on working on "happiness and madness" in the near DF style soon!

Hmm is this made with Libgdx? I think I recognize that ui :)

Anyway. Looking good. Looks a lot like Rimworld/Prison Architect. Which is not a bad thing.

Hah yes it's libgdx and I've not replaced the default UI skin yet, aiming to get more functionality in place to figure out what I need to support before trying to come up with a good looking UI. And thanks!
