The darkness around him seemed to pulse. Dragon wings rustled in the shadows, the sound of flames whispered in his mind. Kill them all, Kal. They deserve it. They are less than One of the Dragon Kin. His mother's voice. This last while, he had been able to hear nothing else.
He shuffled after the others, hoping they did not notice his silence. Inside, he battled his mother. No. His very nature rose up against him. May the goddess forgive my transgression....

Through clouded eyes, he saw horrors in a house of pain and torture. They reflected the mind within.
A ghost appeared in front of Stephen, who he now considered a friend.
Yes, that voice crooned within him. Blood...blood.
Redness seemed to leak from Stephen's side. It looked glorious, red as fire, red as sin. Silent though he was, Kal grinned.
Yes.
Something was wrong...wasn't it?
Let him die. Revel in the death. He nodded inwardly. Yes, he would. Looking about, he saw the others were stunned, lacking the reflexes of the Dragon. They would not react. He would do nothing.
No. His own voice, for the first time, spoke. He saw a small corpse on the ground. It reminded him of the suffering the Dragon could cause, of friends lost and cruelty learned.

Struggling against the impassivity, Kal raised his hands, spewing forth Acid rather than the fire he had forbidden himself.

Acid Strike the Ghost, using Acid Vial as focus.

Rusty would be fine, probably? Not having a brain and all. Kal would have held up fairly well, as would Stephen. Zeratuu... couldn't call it. Really only Etoile would be broken.

((Rusty actually does have a brain and some vital organs, being only half-construct. It also has plenty of racial bonuses against fear and other mind-affecting effects, so it would still be pretty fine.))
