Here's the first forgotten beast I encountered: a giant hairy green enemy crab. Fortunately, my swordsdwarf and his pet war elephant managed to take it down after a while.

I've tried looking at forgotten beasts for inspiration, but I keep getting boring ones... Or dinosaurs. I don't like drawing dinosaurs.

The painting is a portrait, so I don't think there are any body references anywhere apart from parts of the upper body. If you feel like messing around with it then feel free, but I would be satisfied with just the head.

the figure was done in MS PAINT, the backgorund in photoshop. I accidentally created drag lines on the image border...

BTW I was not aware that the golden helmet had a plume on it when I drew this.
