Wonderful, wonderful: facial expressions, right amount of detail; just wonderful.

For a project in class we were to take Gui Bonsieppe's presentation of Some Virtues of Design and pick something to pair it with and make a book out of it. Make the entire book. But I decided this would be the time to do something Dwarf Fortress related and decided to pair it with boatmurdered. I paired selections and such from Boatmurdered along with a fitting section, Lightness, Intelectuality, Public Domain, Otherness, Visuality, and Theory. I could upload the PDF if you guys want, but for now here's some shots. It's about ~65 pages.

Nor while having a sergal avatar, especially one with grey fur and [CREATURE:SERGALSOUTH] underneath, which reinforces the idea that people who like sergals don't actually know anything about Vilous.

Whoa, nice. I for one would love to see the whole thing if you can be bothered.

You're not usually supposed to do that, at least in the instance of the project. Trust me, it was done for typography.

This is a crayon art reward by 'Three Toe' Adams.
All penmanship is of the highest quality. On this item is an image of a dwarf and an elf. The dwarf is offering the elf a Xx(troll fur sock)xX. The elf is looking terrified. This artwork relates to Sus' habit of offering the crap left behind by goblin sieges for sale.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

It's not the size of the pick that counts... it's the size of the man with the pick.

This thread is slightly...dead. Time to revive it with a crummy sketch!

Typo on the year there...wow, I'm apparently still living in 2011.
