Love this one. Great lightning and mood and so on. But I'm getting really confused about how big you imagine those trees actually to be.
On the first look I thought the passage under the roots was about the 10x the size of a dwarf (like the ones in the foreground), but then I noticed the second boat near the root of the left tree, and realized that they are way bigger than I thought them to be, and that the red stuff under the tree is actually some kind of city (or isn't it?). So the trees must be huuuuge!

Btw concept art is back up, but we still can't see your older work, you know anything about that?

Right. I'm going to just throw my current adventurer's description out there, and see what disturbing art comes from it.

She is a vampire (Assuming sharpened fangs, possibly red eyes?). Her right eye was utterly destroyed. Her right hand is cut open. Her lungs have been pierced and torn. Her liver has been destroyed. She was recently melted by dragonfire, so her steel gauntlets, boots, and greaves are melted and fused into her arms, feet, and legs, respectfully. Her heart is torn. Her clothes, aside from the armor stated before, are burnt blue peafowl tatters, mostly gone. And now for the listed ingame description, sans injuries (Which I listed here.)

Laneia Niroecena Vinenaiwethi Eyi

A medium-sized creature dedicated to the ruthless protection of nature.

She is incredibly muscular. Her hair is extremely long. Her splayed out ears have nearly fused lobes. Her slightly sunken dark blue eyes are narrow. Her ears are short. Her head is somewhat short. Her hair is orange. Her skin is pale pink. Her upper body bears a tiny straight scar. Her lower body bears the marks of old wounds, including a tiny straight scar. Her left lower arm bears a tiny straight scar. Her right hand bears a very short curving scar. Her right cheek bears a straight scar. Her nose is somewhat short. Her upper body's fat is gone. Her head's fat is gone. (And with that, I'd assume most of the skin on those two areas as well.)

Can't wait to see, if someone has interest!

(Ironically, it might be worth mentioning that she is still entirely fully functional. If the only good elf is a dead elf, I'm sure she applies at this point, though!)

Various forms of !!FUN!!, Rail-gun launched bolts, pike to the eye, fireball flinging titan...  Falling down a 19 z level pit... Dragonfire, of course... She had an eventful career, alright? I actually ended up becoming a vampire as an alternative to dying to a bolt to the lungs.

it was actually supposed to depict one of the ever popular methods of training military dwarves to swim. but that works too - any scenario involving dwarves and a floodgate really!



I realize our forts don't have ladders yet.

Has anyone drawn Derm the Soulchopper (from Towersoared) hacking a Forgotten Beast to pieces? Because that should really be given visual form. I remember that his first FB kill was a feathery spider of some kind.
