oh yeah, the perspective and proportioning of the siege tank is all out of whack.

if you pay attention to the wagons in my comic, you'll see that their size when compared to the characters is wildly inconsistent.

EDIT: As you can see HERE!

(the new page of comic is up now)

Thanks, Josh.

I've been trying to fix the whole "my characters don't have pupils" thing. so far it's worked, 'cept for that fifth panel down there.

I'd just say it's a cannon.  It works.

One can be an awesome artist (which you are) without being able or willing to take mistakes and turn them into successes.  But it sure helps ;D

QUANTUM STOCKPILES. It explains everything. See, you can place a few elephants in a wagon, still it's pulled by 2 horses. It can have as many place as you want inside.

Actually I think its an interesting quirk that identifies your style and work, so long as you put enough expression in the area around the eye and the brow it should work.

I was going to say, you could just keep doing that- or save it for a signature facial expression, or just decide that some races don't have pupils. I'd have to say most of your work wouldn't look as good with pupils added in (esp. the goblins). Not that you couldn't just try to add them in in the first place of course.

I'm in the process of deciding which races have pupils and which ones don't.

The humans, of course, need to have pupils. goblins and elves, not so much. Not sure about half-elves though.

Olin and Urist are both mountain dwarves, and they have a special third eyelid that keeps out dust, so for the most part their pupils are not visible. Hill dwarves (dwarrow) lack this feature, as they spend less time below ground. they have large and shiny eyes with little white visible.

Make it vary from individual to individual. Maybe have some with pupils in only one eye, who have really fucked up vision.

I didn't think of it that way, more of them just being a mutant.

Now suppose he had a human kidney and an elven kidney. Okay, not truly dramatic material, but just ponder it. Would he be debilitated? Able to eat just about anything? Who knows.
