These are great ideas, in spite of the, er obvious flaws...

William and Josef's travel group includes some half-elves (and possibly half-dwarves?) so I should probably figure out a good appearance standard for them.

I appreciate your contribution to the creative process.

Will you be taking any other sort of creative liberties with the source material Fault? Like adding the mod-only Orcs? Or anything like that?

...obvious flaws...

In my defense, I'm fairly sick right now. Sometimes the best ideas are in a field of bad ones.

the comic does not actually take place in vanilla dwarf fortress. I draw a lot of inspiration from dwarf fortress, which is why I'm posting some of the more dwarfy art from it here, but the comic world is not entirely based in the dwarf fortress canon.

I suppose you could say it takes place in a heavily modded world on a version of DF from the far-flung future... but mostly it is a world of my own conception.

so to answer your question, yes.

I'm thinking of maybe opening a topic in creative projects for any who want to follow my comic or contribute creatively (whether through guest strips, help on world-building or suggestions on how to MAKE IT BETTER) but I'll probably wait until I have more strips. You know, when there's enough content for a discernible plot to form.

Hey, sorry for the double-post, but the new page is up.
It's an examination of the subtle nuances of Dwarvish Language.
I'm not posting it here 'cause it's not coloured yet.

now all that picture needs is one damn happy and drunk elf who got abducted as a child and is really happy now because he's with those guys instead of the tree huggers.
