A library question/snafu
« on: September 12, 2016, 07:37:00 am »

Ye Olde Masterwork, this fortress is running fine except for two things:

1) Scriptorums won’t accept tasks.  Everything’s in stock: glue, paper, ink, quills, journals, even some library supply crates unloaded recently, Scribe is enabled in Therapist yet all reactions remain red’ed out.  This has never happened before – anything else to check or is this fortress a write-off?  The libraries are useful but this also stops Research.

2) Kilns won’t accept task to dry the inventoried cave wheat to hay.  No biggie but maybe something tied to the Scriptorum problem?  These are the only issues found so far.

Ideas?

Burrows.

Regardless of the burrows being active or not, the custom workshops will only accept reagents from within the same burrows.

Yep, that was it -- a civilian alert set up when the invaders were getting a bit much, DefCon II/Down-n-In, with the ink still up top next to the wood pile.  Inactive but, acting.  Thanks --
