Well this is odd
« on: September 22, 2016, 09:45:00 pm »

Just when you think you've seen everything in this game, a migrant walks onto the map and drops a horse nose. How does this even happen? WHY did this happen? Somehow, the game gave a dwarf a horse nose, said dwarf carried it all the way to my fort, then decided, "No, you know what, I really don't need this horse nose after all."

wild guess:

you know how all those historic figures are always doing stuff with/to animals?

this one was doing something with a horse nose, then was selected to migrate.

It's a new world, no previous fortresses. The migrant wave came in the fall, a big one of about 30. It's now spring and the horse nose has not decomposed.

Only the nose knows.

I'm new to succession forts in general, yes, but do all forts designed by multiple overseers inevitably degenerate into a body-filled labyrinth of chaos and despair like this? Or is this just a Battlefailed thing?

Who cares, it's just a body part, it's nostril-ly a problem.

Making me wonder if there's really an area outside the map, where units, well, can do things you don't see. :P

We know that off-map polar bears can guzzle off-map caravan booze.
