Curious about syndromes
« on: September 24, 2016, 12:05:05 pm »

Hello, everyone. I am, as the title of this post says, curious about syndromes. More specifically, is it possible to make a syndrome that slowly changes a entity over time. An example of my idea would be a dwarf (let's call him Urist) encounters a monster that breathes a gas at Urist. Urist escapes, but over the course of several days, his skin becomes scales, and as the days go on, he eventually becomes a savage, carnivorous humanoid that is only a shell of his former self.

An author of this mod:

Apparently achieved this.
My entire fort was corrupted once by the Elder God and all my dwarves turned into shortheaded whitehaired creatures.

Maybe look into it and see how he did it?
