What kind of RPG and collectible card games do dwarves play?

Basements and Bureaucrats?

"My 12th level Office Drone confronts the Middle Manager, 'You've been stealing my ideas and not giving me any credit! En Guarde!' He draws his +2 letter opener and makes a feint attack!"

"Roll for initiative. Okay, the Middle Manager is surprised, roll to hit, ouch! Critical failure, you fumble and drop the letter opener. The Middle Manager draws his Red Swingline Stapler of Fire! 'That's the last straw, burn it down!' he cries as he opens fire..."

Nerds: the Hackening?

"I tap my Sun Micro for 1 CPU, and cast Network Scan."

"Hah, I tap my NeXT Cube and play Obsolete as an interrupt, put your Sun on the discard pile..."

(0.42 & 0.43) Accessibility Utility v1.04 - Console tools to navigate the map

Dirst... that was the EXACT cartoon I was thinking of when I wrote the post!!! Nice. Was that from Dragon magazine? Papers and Paychecks, hehe.

It was in AD&D's Dungeon Master's Guide, but was probably reprinted elsewhere.

Ah, the original AD&D DM's Guide, of course! Old School Represent, Wooot! Do you remember when Deities and Demigods still had all that unauthorized content in it, like Elric of Melnibone, Fafhrd & the Gray Mouser and stuff?

Newest set actually has dwarves back in it.  Legendary dwarves, even.  I'm running a dwarves+artifacts tribal deck right now in EDH, even.
