Alpha tileset & creature sprites (32x) - work in progress.

I kinda got a strange mood and made a thing today.

Obsidian Soul and Dibujor, both inactive, made quite a few extremely pretty 24x and 32x sprites before they left. I thought it would be a shame to let them go to waste, and put them in a tileset. There are no 32x graphical tilesets yet, so I gave it a try.

About half of the tileset is using their artwork, the other half I made. The text is an enlarged Obsidian Soul font.

It does not work yet because a lot of tilenumbers are not fitted, I have not made any TWBT overrides yet, I have not made any creature sprites yet, and the shading is horrid. I forgot most everything about proper tileset shading, most of the tiles are solid with no transparency.

If anyone can paint plants, please help. I hate plants.

Alpha was not meant as the name, more a version number. :D Because its still work in progress, nothing I could release yet.

Looks really good.  If this becomes the new standard for Masterwork, art-style wise, it might be the first set of graphic overrides I actually prefer over a nice tileset.

This is awesome because it is awesome, and because if you keep at it that means Masterwork will also 'just work' with it as well. Which makes it more awesome, I guess.

Here's Dibujor's 24x24/32x32 thread. Here's all I could find of Obsidian Soul's graphics at anything larger than 16x16. Did Obsidian have more larger stuff than what's found in that post?

I thought it would be a shame to let them go to waste, and put them in a tileset. There are no 32x graphical tilesets yet, so I gave it a try.
DawnFortress has a 32x32 version, but it's just an automated upscale of the 16x16 version.

About half of the tileset is using their artwork, the other half I made. The text is an enlarged Obsidian Soul font.
Is Obsidian Soul's font your favorite of all of them? I can make you some larger versions, if you want.

He probably does on his computer  :P. It's to bad he couldn't finish that set, it looked so sweet. It's sort of what got Dibujor wanting to make a set of that quality but then rl hit him hard.

Heres a few pm images between me and Dibujor, idk if all of those are in his thread already or not. Well most are.

Looks sweet asf, the orcs are a little too bright green though? It hurts my eyes to stare at them closely or at all. Maybe they are darker ingame. Well the last 5 lines are okay to look at but the ones above may be to bright, could just be the time I am looking at them.

I think it only comes from having several hundred right next to each other. It looks fine ingame. I gave them light-green skin because goblins have dark-green skin.
