One of my college's clubs needed help packing a metric shit ton of these I guess goodie bags for the homeless? The have a blanket, rain poncho, two shirts, a water bottle, a winter toque, and a coupon book for cheap boots and food.

May I have Deponia Doomsday, please good sir?

Started a Service Learning project, where I (with some friends) volunteer at various volunteer organisations to help out and raise funds. Some days we do street sales, some days we volunteer at their facilities, interacting with disabled people, helping them do administrative work etc.). A great experience, really opened my eyes to how blessed I am just to have both my legs and arms.

I would love to have AI War: Fleet Command + all DLC :)

tl;dr, struck out with some girls, gimme a game. jk. not really.

Pick a game! Thanks for doing that, though I'd still recommend the whole vulnerability thing and the helping without possibility of flirting :D It can be pretty amazing!

Make no mistake, if it was an old couple I probably would have still helped considering I was in full "WE ALL GOTTA GO" mode, like something out of a disaster movie. It just so happened it was 3 cute girls and there were no other guys in the area so I thought why the hell not?

I'll choose.....WWE 2K16. It's got mixed reviews and I'll let others who gave more have the better games. And also, I haven't played a wrastlin' sim since no mercy for the N64. Great times.

Ah yes, the insatiable lust of corn and rice, clearly two of the most erotic foods.

I pitched in to the local student blood drive and donated my blood (I'm O negative, universal donor) and will be doing it again next week.
(Also anyone who can, I urge you to donate blood, most hospitals need it on a regular basis and every bit helps.)

I choose... The Banner Saga. It looks interesting and the art-style looks very nice.

That's amazing, and captures the spirit of this giveaway perfectly. Tell that lady that a random person in this world thinks she is a beautiful human being.

And pick a game!

I just cleaned up the nastiest diarrhea mess I have seen in my entire life - created by a 2 year old who apparently has a stomach bug.  Stop reading if you're squeamish. The diaper had exploded and the entire bed was covered. Bits of something resembling carrots or maybe orange bell peppers was smeared on the bed railing. The bed was covered in something vaguely like what you would get if you threw random meats, fruits, and vegetables from your fridge in a blender and turned it on with the top off and let it fly. The sheets and waterproof mattress pad were so soaked that it pooled into the middle when I removed it and I had to dump it into the toilet. I sprayed it all off with a sprayer into the toilet before washing it on a sanitary setting in the washing machine. The best part is, I went and grabbed said screaming toddler without realizing why he was crying and held him to my chest. His clothing was in a similar state to the bed. Despite the smell assaulting me as soon as I picked him up, I still held him to my chest and soothed him all the way to the bathroom instead of dropping him like a hot, wet, stinky potato. And I didn't have a chance for a shower until I had finished bathing him and cleaning up his bed so I could put him back down to sleep. Despite this and other gruesome adventures, I still love the little guy more than my own life. Does this count as being helpful and/or friendly? :P

I also have to wonder: how is pro-choice escorting being helpful or friendly?

Was doing my weekly paper delivery round, and saw that someone's envelope had fallen out of their mailbox, and a bit onto the pathway. Picked it up, and it was open, containing about $70-$80, and returned it. The owner thanked me greatly, and I had also seen her being yelled at, presumably by her partner, so hopefully the money helped slightly.
Also volunteered at an afterschool/daycare centre for mentally disabled kids.

Randomly generated number 3, so you got Finding Teddy! :) Keep being awesome!

I also have to wonder: how is pro-choice escorting being helpful or friendly?

I suspected this one would be controversial! Thank you for engage in polite discourse, like your avatar says. I am so sorry those kinds of things have happened to you, it sounds horrible. More response in spoiler!

Anyway, not sure what your relationship to the baby is, but for the polite discussion alone and for what you've suffered while fighting for what you believe in, definitely pick a game! :)

Also, e-hugs, if you'll have them.

I would really like Xenonauts, please.

Side note: Here's the lady's website. It doesn't look like she has a donate button right now, but if you live in the Wheeling area (or don't mind paying shipping) she's got a list of stuff she can use.

I came out as trans to my parents (it went fine!). I would describe myself as semi-closeted at the moment. Prior to telling my parents I only ever told people when it was contextually relevant.

Now I'm getting involved with the queer community at my university and I have to say it is very liberating! It's nice to be able to talk to other folks going through similar struggles to myself and for us to be able to help each other out. I've read a lot of gender theory and accounts of trans people so I have been able to offer a theoretical perspective, while others that have been at this for longer than I have offer me a lot of practical knowledge that I sorely need.

To anyone here struggling with gender stuff feel free to send me a message! I can say from experience that it's easier when we face this together.

That's awesome! Go you, and go your parents! :D Being out and involved is super powerful too - thanks a ton for doing this! I have a couple of identities I'm largely closeted about because people have tended to go "after" my cherished ones and insist on making them feel bad. Hate them closets, but it's a choice that I think makes a lot of sense right now. Keeping that in mind for the US's National Coming Out Day (tomorrow!).

Pick a game! :D
