saves keep getting corrupted or something (fixed)

so i make a map with update 1.19, game works perfect while in game. save the game and then quit, and then i reboot the game and then the save will crash right before it finishes loading.

i cant find anything odd in the errorlog either and it is happening regardless of whether i compress saves, or play as succubi or dwarf civ

fixed, dont just copy and paste new versions of the game into the folder of the older version, you might have a bad time

If its crashing before its getting into the game then its running out of memory or at least that's the most likely suspect.

Embark size? LAA? etc

If its crashing before its getting into the game then its running out of memory or at least that's the most likely suspect.

Embark size? LAA? etc
my embark size is only 2x2 and im using a pocket sized world so i dont know how i would be running out of memory
i cleaned the error log and then tried to load a game and got this

It doesn't seem to be a memory issue by the looks of it 2x2 is tiny you shouldn't have any problems there. Have you tried reinstalling? I ask this because by the looks of it, it looks to be failing to find the references, be that from a corrupt file, or simply an oversight that mepth might have missed out on; I'm not saying its his fault or anything I'm just speculating what could be wrong. If it were an oversight, you could fine out for certain by embarking on another site see if it crashes, (Providing it happens to roll the same map conditions for it to crash, hopefully you don't and then we know what could be wrong.) Failing that try regenning another world etc, that way you know if its a problem with the game or if its only under specefic conditions.

Theres a chance that error could just be nothing. As far as I can tell It's just saying that it doesn't have a pre defined material type for the creature and that its defaulting, a lot of mods have these oversights but are fairly harmless.

works now just needed to delete the game and do a fresh install instead of just copying and pasting the updates into the existing folder

mifki just fixed that :) I'll update TWBT with the next release, no more crashes from multilevel and overrides. :)
