Frankly speaking, I'm not that informed when it comes to politics. Local newspapers and the radio are usually quoting those of the Commonwealth, and most of them are directly controlled by the Dominion administration. Anyway, if I understand correctly, there's nothing really new today. The Pure Domain is doing it's superpower thing, the bugmen and some other dudes are all like "we can do it better", the Independent States are corrupt or/and ruined, the Pazzis are a nuisance, nothing is heard from the aliens, and everything else is rather barren.

I am a secretary to the Head of the local Telecommunication Board. We don't have much to do at the moment, since most of the network is provided and taken care of by the Dominion. As for my dream...

Oh, these ones.

Those two lamps would have been a part of bioelectrical nanointerface if I had had one installed. A while ago the Dominion administration proposed to fit all local government workers with those, but then restrictions came in. Now it's nothing more than a fancy piercing. Also, I'm less than eager now to do such things for no good reason.

The interface users are somewhat of a rare sight nowadays. The availability of such augmentations is rather low as well.
