So I was google- ing like asymmetric games and stuff or whatever and I end up finding a game called "space station 13".
I then see that bay12 has their own league or whatever. I installed all the things and got the game playing, but I ended up on some other
server that the bay 12 but whatever.
I had no Idea what I was doing and it was a time, but it was a fun time. I never broke RP either.
So here is my two part journal about my cat man character named "Kitty Galore".
First part.
A space station 13 journal
So today I played space staion 13 for the first
time. It was cool.
I made a character, a cat man of some kind with a
brownish mohawk and generally brown features. He had a
prostetic arm and a mechanicle heart from back in "space
nam". He got shot in the heart and arm an only survived
because he jammed his wind up alarm clock into his own
chest. The arm he got after the war was over.
This cat man was named "Kitty Galore".
It was Kittie's first day on the job as therapist
for station 13. He had no idea what he was doing or what
he is in for. He spent most of his first day locked in his
office trying to light his cigarrettes.
He just couldn't seem to get his hands to work.
After a while Kitty just had to go out and explore.
He started with the medbay area. There were people shoving
him aside going about their business, while Kitty still
didn't know what he was supposed to be doing. He kept
checking the comms and apologizing for accidentally
hitting the fire alarms.
He went back to his office where he was met by the
station AI. The AI wanted to talk, but when Kitty asked
what the problem was the AI just said nevermind and left.
Kitty then decided to go exploreing again.
Kitty was outside the medbay area walking west when
all of a sudden a crowd started running against him and the
comms channel blew up with chat. The crowd was followed...
No chased, by a herd of wild vending machines.
Kitty had never seen its like...Not since space nam.
Kitty ran with the crowd trying to get away, but he
just wasn't fast enough. The cola machine tried to shove
cola up Kittie's anus, and the kitkat machine kept ramming
him.
Kitty lost conciousness.
He awoke to a friendly face dragging him away, and
quite alot of pain.
Kitty remebers crying about his anus and too many
kitkats and soda everywhere.
It was an embarrasing time for Kitty.
The doctor fixed Kitty up as best he could. Kittie's
left arm was broken though and Kitty couldn't even lift a
ciggaret. Kittie's right arm on the other hand would work for
a few minutes at the time before it would short out, it being
a prostetic and all.
The comms channel said something about an escape
shuttle. Kitty being sick of this place thought it would be
a good time to leave. Unfortunatly, Kitty had no Idea where
the escape shuttle was kept. He hobbled out of the medbay and
saw a few people running. He followed and soon found many
people and more. Eventually he found what he hoped was the
escape shuttle.
It was chaos. People running up and down the isles
, the pilot threatening to shoot anybody coming into his
cockpit. Hehe, Kitty laughs at this "cockpit".
Kitty could't figure out how to buckle himself into
the chairs. When the ship took off Kitty fell to the floor.
Kitty was okay though, as he was leaving this horrible
place.
Kitty could hardley breathe through the gas mask he
had found back in the medbay, but he could still smell a bad
stench all of a sudden, and then.
Seering pain as Kittie's face was melted off in an
explosion of acid and pain.
Kitty awoke in the waiting area of the after life.
He had no idea what had happend.
Second part.
Kitty Galore had been through a lot in his previous
life. But he was looking foward to a second chance.
Kitty arived at station 13 much like he had done once
before. He again was therapist of the station and his office
was familiar to him by now.
Unfortunatly Kitty was feeling peckish so he sat in
his lounge chair and smoked a cigarrette as he let his mind
wander to thoughts of lentils and cake. His people's
national dish (I had to go eat supper aright).
Kitty soon found himself asleep. When he awoke he
found himself naked in the medbay being drug around by a
doctor. Kitty forgets his name, "Acronym" we'll call him.
Acronym was treating Kitty for some malady or the
other, puttin him in the bacta tank and taking him out again.
Acronym soon took Kitty back to his clothes.
Kitty asked Acronym what had happened to him.
Acronym told Kitty that he had leaned back in his
chair and fallen over.
Kitty thought this sounded logical and didn't ask
anymore questions.
Kitty then went off in search of a lighter.
Kitty wandered around and somehow ended up right
back in the medbay with the bacta tanks. There was a man
lieing on the floor. Kitty decided to check his pulse and
examine him. The man was alive, but was still lieing on the
floor.
Kitty put the man in the bacta tank after much
thought and trial, even accidentally falling into the tank himself.
The healing bacta didn't seem to have any effect on
the man. So Kitty decided to go to the bar. Kitty couldn't
figure out how to let go of the man so he drug him to the
bar with him and sat him down on a stool.
Kitty not being able to figure out how to drink,
decided to feed the sick man some martinees and carrot juice.
This seemed like a good idea to Kitty.
Soon though a monkey bartender came up to Kitty
and said somthing about space sleep and took the sick man
back to the doctors. (Kitty assumed.)
Kitty being in a bar decided to drink some martinnees
while listening to the big chicken man play guitar.
Kitty was a few drinks in when the monkey bartender
got back from the doctor's. The bartender took offence to
Kitty throwing empty glasses against the wall.
The monkey then drug Kitty out of the bar.
"I don't need your booze anyway!" Yelled Kitty.
Kitty then got sick in a doorway to the west and
thought his legs were broken (Thought my keys got stuck)
, but it turns out he was just really drunk.
A nice cleaning robot cleaned the hall.
"Thanks." Kitty said to the robot.
The doctor that had helped Kitty when he fell out of
his chair called Kitty on the comms.
"I have a patient for you." The doctor said.
As Kitty was the therapist he felt he had to go.
He went to his office and met the doctor there.
The office was burned on one side and Kitty didn't make the
connection at first.
The doctor seemed to implie that Kittie's injury was
unrelated to the burning of half his office. The half Kitty
was last in.
Hmmmm. Thought Kitty.
Oh well.
The doctor went off and left Kitty alone.
He looked through his computer and was overwelmed with
information, so he left in search of a lighter.
Kitty found no lighter, but he somehow found his own
office again and this time his patient met him at the door.
The patient talked to Kitty and Kitty invited him in.
The patient drug an office chair over to Kittie's burned
lounge chair and the patient sat in the lounge chair.
Kitty stood on the office chair as he still can't remember
how to sit.
Not since space nam.
Kitty and the patient have a deep conversation
about how the patient had been an engineer when he had been
attacked by someone and had to shoot the someone and then
cut his head off with a lasersword.
(I RP-ed this to my feeble best.)
Kitty couldn't find a lighter in his pockets as they
talked.
The patient mentioned the man outside the window
with the food cart.
Kitty felt this was a distraction and got up to
close the window, the button being near the door.
As Kitty repeatedly pushed the button to close the
window his office exploded inwards in an implodey kind of
way.
A robot man can in through the window and began pistol whipping Kittie's patient.
Kitty then said "You're on your own kid!" as he
ran from his office to the west.
Kitty hid in some vents of something as he looked
for a light. He wandered around confused until he came upon
a lady and two robots. The lady was welding the robots.
Kitty asked the lady for a light.
She didn't have one, so Kitty left.
Somehow Kitty found himself in engineering finding out that welders hurt your eyes. He also found out that he
dosen't know how to light a cigarette with road flares.
Kitty abandones his flare in a garage with a guy who
didn't move from his spot.
Kitty then sees a man through a window who is building a space ship.
Kitty wants to get in, but he can't. So he goes through some fireman gear he finds. Nothing he wants.
Kitty then wanderes into a hallway where he sees a monkey. The monkey then punches Kitty in the nards.
Kitty struggles to get up and run.
The monkey hits him another time before Kitty can get up the speed to get away.
After Kitty feels better he ends up back in the garage where he left his flare.
It being dark in there Kitty thinks better of it and takes his flare back.
Some people from the garage then ask kindly if they
can have the flare back.
Kitty proceeds to comply when his world goes white
and it is as if his world ceaces to respond.
This was the end of Kitty Galore's rambling journey
on "space station 13".
For now.
But for reals this was a fun game and I had a good time not knowing what the balls I was doing.
Still don't, there were people running around doing important stuff and here I am just trying to find some smokes or whatever.
The journal I wrote is pretty much how it all happened. I see no upon reading it myself that it is not the best written thing
ever, but I feel it is "in character" of a sort and am keeping it the way it is. (I'm probably not correcting any spelling any time soon either, but maybe someday.)
