Hm. Need to act fast, but we should confer with Sucy and Francine first. The plan most likely to succeed will involve all three of us, and maybe they have ideas which aren't too horrible.

Probably.  We might be able to roll the bubble.  And if we can get blood into Sydney, her vampirism might arouse her a bit.

Maybe some magic to wear it down, or let something get through, and maybe we can roll the bubble by pushing or pulling it?  It won't be easy to hide, but we wouldn't need it out of sight for long.

...That is probably the stupidest best idea that I have ever heard. Yes. We need to feed our vampire friend our blood. It the best scenario.

It's probably been months since the last time you did it, but the situation has gotten desperate enough that you decide that prayer might be the best thing to do right now. As you climb on the rooftop, this time with both your companions, you take another look at the creature before. If "Godless" ever needed a picture, it would certainly be that abomination. It's not talking any more, maybe some internal conflict, but you don't have the time or strength to kill that thing quite yet. Well, the strength is a "maybe", but first you need to get Sydney out of there. That bubble is the first obstacle to think about. You've already got an idea on how to deal with that Lieutenant bitch, that being a distraction, but that bubble...
It's just levitation.
What?
The purple glow, it's just the lieutenant's way of keeping her in the air. I thought it was a barrier, but the energy is too light for that. Not to mention, her blood's falling through it no problem.
You look at the impossibly thick stream flowing out of that wound. Gods, how in the hell are you going to close that...
I can try one of my explosives, but Sydney needs to be out of there. We need some way to rouse her, or maybe you can... tackle her out of there?
That would be something worth watching. Do you think you've got the power needed?
To get her away long enough? Yes. To KEEP her away? Another story. Heavy.
Well, if we get enough of a distraction in it might just be enough to carry her out of here. Francine, you're a drider, you can help.
Manual labor? I'm really not-
You have six more legs. Nut up.
Ohh, fine. I need access to her body as soon as possible, regardless.
Would blood help?
With the right blood type, yes, but Driders work differently than you, and I doubt she has AB+. Not that I would want to share unless very necessary.
Bitch. Also, not what I meant.
The vampirism? Sure, if you could feed her directly. And you'll need quite a bit to get her up and running. My guess is... about two healthy human males. Emphasis on healthy.
Not an option from here.
We have a basement filled to the brim with available people. It won't take much coercion.
Likely a problem for her, morals are going to stand in the way of practicality.
Accurate... Talk later, I see lizards. They want Sydney as a prize.
You can speak lizard, now?
They like glowing things.

You've got a clear shot across the rooftops to try and snatch Sydney. Your momentum might carry you to the next roof, and every building here is flat up top. Of course, getting out is a bigger problem. If you actually manage to get her out of the horrifying spider-demon's grasp.
Lots of variables, very little time...

Neat stuff I do:
A suggestion game about a drider that does a lot of stuff. I think it's kinda neat.

Edit: Oh, Urist, PM me the reviews here, I can almost always access this site, not so much Discord.

You could just post it..

Go collect some dead lizard-man bodies, and get them ready as emergency blood supplies.  They're bigger than people, so it probably won't take as many of them.  I mean, it's proobably not safe to do that, but nothing about this situation is safe.

As for the others, get ready to make the move of dropping it and pushing, and think if there's anything that can be done to improve the odds.  Flashbangs?  Sewer entrance?  Keep your eyes open.

Sydney DID eat some elderitch abominations before and she survived, she might be abe to endure lizardblood if they have it, or carrion blood...

worst case scenario we will have to use that potion that can clean corruption asap

Maybe go to the sewers after the distraction is the best bet, there is only the small fish there we can meet the others there, we just need to set direction to where we heard that is the doctor, there must be enough materials, ask before the heroic stupidity if it will be necessary fresh drider parts, maybe the bazaar can get us something about it after we get they on safety

but do whatever is necessary right now, we can't waste this turn we have NOW to save her from the jack, next turn to send her to the doctor and give her some blood, and maybe the last one will be used to get a drider part and run back running, she can't know we did that

If we could be guaranteed to kill jack this could save her

hmmm, so kit's attempt will be on the very LAST turn of chance godamn

I'm sure that carrionblood is a totally safe thing to consume.
