The Accidental Marble (3rd Shopkeeper, Dwarf Tavern Keeper)
« on: December 24, 2016, 05:21:25 pm »

Greetings. I'm Sulus Crescentcrown, veteran of the First Elf-Dwarven War and the barkeep of this place. I've got
plenty of booze, food, and rooms for the weary. I serve anybody, except elves. I've experienced horrors like you wouldn't believe.

(OOC: My third shopkeeper!

Appearance of Sulus: A dwarf with a slightly gruff voice. His long hair is raw umber with flecks of gray. His skin is dark peach. His eyes are jade. His beard has 5 braids down the middle of it.)

Out of curiosity, why are you making these? Is it so you can get info for a future forum game or something?

(Mainly because they had not been done much before.
Don't worry. This'll be the last one for now.)

An enraged elephant man busts down the door with a dwarf who's head was punched off. His skin is gray. His eyes are black. He is muscular. He charges at the tavern keeper.

Sulus: Oh, for the love of...
*grabs his steel spear and stabs the elephant man in the lower body, tearing the muscle and tearing the guts!*

Calm down, you humongous half-wit!

The elephant man looks sick! The Elephant man has become even more enraged! The Elephant man grabs the tavern keeper by the steel spear!
The elephant man struggles for the steel spear! The elephant man gains possession of the steel spear!
The elephant man plows through a wall and runs off with the steel spear...

Hello there, shopkeeper! Have thee any iron mauls in stock? If not, an iron mace will certainly do. I'll pay up to 800 dwarfbucks for the former, the latter I'll pay 600 for.

Sulus: I'm a tavern keeper, lad.
If you are trading, go somewhere else.
You want anything to drink?

Hmm. Most tavern keepers tend to keep a small selection of weapons. Of course, I'm fine without said weapons, but I might have a little extra in store for you if you could procure them for me. For now, however, a bit of Dwarven Wine would certainly be wonderful. How much for two flagons?

Wonderful! This was a profitable exchange for the both of us. Rest assured that I will return. And remember, if you happen to procure and iron maul, I'd buy it for twice the standard price.

Best of luck, barkeep.

Sulus: Farewell.
Wait, hang on.

*pulls out an iron maul*
Had this in the war.

...

Take it.
