The cave has exactly one way out of it, and it appears to have almost completely collapsed. The only way forward is a tiny squeeze hole.

Ah, excellent, a problem I can solve! Sifeebt will do a starfish roar right back at the bear, and then grab a spear and jam it down the thing's throat (as long as the spear won't do less damage than his 5d4 unarmed starfish attack).

The starfish body can't roar persay, so you just bash the bear with your giant fishy limbs. Your limbs are like animate tree trunks and every blow crushes and pulverizes like a battering ram. You smash th bear's flank, causes masses of dry clay to crumble and fall away, but the bear fights back, catching your limb in its boney teeth and pushing you to the ground.

Description
wearing a nice suit and glasses, and keeping well groomed gives Jakie a rather slick appearance. She has a very no-nonsense personality, and speaks with a slight tunnel accent. She comes of as very cold, with calculating and emotionless eyes that remind one of a reptile.
Backstory
Jakie Rede was born in a little tunnel town right outside the city. Jakie didn't like the lack of opportunity, so she made her own, in the booze business. Being as how these "operations" weren't entirely legal, Jakie learned how to protect her interests when the need arose, and the need arose often. But, getting too greedy, Jakie lost control of her turf, was muscled out and forced to skip town. Now, down on her luck, she wants to explore, see the world, and maybe find a nice place to set up a new "operation"

Backstory: Deadeye was a part of the Shamur guard, as a combat engineer and later as a artilleryman, taking part in dozens of missions killing and watching as friends died around him. When he got out promised himself he wouldn't have to kill for a living although lack of work and money for starting up a buisness has made that impossible. He has joined the dig to fill his stomach and hopefully earn enough money to own his own shop. Although he can't stop feeling a sense of pride from every kill he makes.
Appearance: He is a veteran soldier and moves with easy confidence. He has scars from bullets on his chest and shrapnel scars on his face.

The rest of the group opens up, firing into the bear's clay flesh. But the bear seems to take very little damage from this; the bullets blow small craters into the flesh but don't seem to truly injure the creature.
