After thinking about it, paying every round 40 points for syndrome bites *puns*

So, time to try a gambit:

Ferrothorn the Solid Snake - Fleeting Frames
Bushmaster Man - 237 +237

Equipment
steel helm (-48)
steel mail shirt (-96)
steel gauntlets (-32)

Skills
Proficent Biting (-75)
Competent Fighting (-18)
Competent Swimming (-12)
Adequate Dodging (-15)

Free points: 178

Kinda what I expected, facing Ferrothorn. Steel armor covering vitals is pretty much unbeatable when opposed by inferior materials, and the venom is really nasty.
Still, good fight! Good luck, everyone!

Thank you. Though not to say I wasn't nervous; the exposed arms versus slashers alone is a way Ferrothorn could have very easily lost, as well as falling into lake (though I was gambling on dodgers instead of non-dodgers falling in), as well as plain falling unconscious from exhaustion from having all bites deflected/blocked/dodged or giving in to pain and having the steel armor just wrestled off. Plenty of room to tie too, with the venom taking over a page to have an effect.

I was praying on none of those happening, but if the AI had targeted exposed flesh like one trivial finding post indicated the tall grass would be less dangerous now.

So, since Kosak died, am I no longer in the tournament, or am I still in because my teammate is?

Every round remaining gladiators will be shuffled to create new teams. Every shuffle is done after the gladiators had been upgraded. Even if your gladiator dies but your team wins you are not eliminated from the tournament.

Upgrade your warrior!

Yep, but uh, just so you know - striking with a shield uses the misc obj. user skill - punching or using a stinger user the striking skill.
