Though he rolled his eyes, Eric allowed Sea to take hold off his hand, and held hers in turn. It was harmless enough.

Wynne looks between the group members that were suddenly... holding hands? "...I'm not gonna follow yer leads on that, just so ya know."

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Quetz watched the battle end not with a bang but more of a whimper. The geldling was his usual whining self, the fire-head man seemed shifty at people, and no one was fighting anymore.
"...Do you often have battles end like this? This is nothing like flower wars of home. This feels..."
She sounded equal parts confused and dejected. The battle sizzling out had left her feeling vaguely unsatisfied.

Wynne looks between the group members that were suddenly... holding hands? "...I'm not gonna follow yer leads on that, just so ya know."
"Is something odd about grasping hands?"

"Nah, this is a weird case. Normally, the fightin' woulda gone until one side was dead. Or ran away. But a lotta people don't really treat that second bit as an option. As for holdin' hands... not really? Just seems like a bit of a weird thing ta do right after a fight is all."

Drest watched the quick and confusing series of events that followed after the noble lady decide she wanted to drag Wynne with her. Of course, following them meant rescuing Sybil so that was the best course of action.

"Battles like this aren't common, but this one was stopped by an unexpected event. And holding hands is something friends or lovers do, therefore it implies some degree of intimacy and might seem out of place at the moment." Drest replied to Quetz as he recovered Fael from his backpack, one arm still carrying his tome in case combat broke out once more.
"Meow." The feline was blissfully ignorant about all the drama going on.

"Let us move, we have to find Lady Sybil."

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Dale shook his head.

"And here I thought y'all were modest. Buncha girls holding hands."

"This world is a strange old thing ain't it?"

"Of course not." It was hard to tell whether Drest was being serious or just teasing Quetz as he talked whiling putting Fael atop one of his shoulders.

Sea didn't seem to hear the discussion behind them, and instead turn up a smiling face at Eric.

"Isn't it great? Wynne found a sister, those people stopped attacking us, and now we're going to go get Master Sybil! I mean... it's sad that we had to fight in the first place... But now things will be ok!"

"Yeah, I don't think that's going to be a comfortable reunion. And to be perfectly honest I don't think they're going to just let us all walk out of here after we get to Sybil." Eric sighed.
