Eric had watched the procedure with his arms folded over his chest, and stayed in the same position. "Huh. Never seen anything quite like that before."

"_{N... no, it's not common. I... I think I might be the only one who knows how to do it. Or, well I taught Sybil how to do it, but it's not as natural for her...}"

She trailed off, her eyes quickly heading for the ground, a bit embarrassed at how much attention she was getting.

"I see. Well, if I were you, assuming you're not intending to be in Sybil's service forever, I'd be very careful who I offer to teach that to. And, more to the point, I'd charge a lot to do it."

Sea mostly just shrugged in response, knowing that Sybil already had considered selling the process but had considered it too dangerous since it could turn even the most unlikely person into a magical assassin. Still, no need to bring that up right now, right?

"Could I get that one? I think I've got the trick of the thing down now."

[SOLDIER First]

"Sea, that was incredible. How are you able to do that so easily? Is it natural ability, or practiced talent?"

[Swordstar]

More attention. This wasn't good. Maybe she should have waited until later to do this. Her cheeks were a pale pink at this point and rapidly getting redder.
"_{It just works... I mean, it was slower at first. I accidentally did it the first time. Turned my mother's wedding ring into a wind magic storage.... She uhm... Wasn't too happy about that. But... The more I practice, the closer I get to magic, the easier it is. It's still dangerous. If I lose the connection midtransfer, I can get burned or shocked but... Using these is easier for me than tomes. It just... Is more natural.}"

[SOLDIER First]

"It's fascinating, really..."

[Sirus]

: "How strange. I have never heard of such a thing before."

[Chevaleresse]

Curiosity finally got the best of Ava as she watched Sea transfer the spells. "Does that work on other kinds of magic?"

[Swordstar]

Finally, an easy question.

"Sort of? I can't quite use the other two magic types like I can anima magic but I have been able to get them to move into other items. But then I can't do anything with them. So it's not useful for me. But it is possible. Though it's harder. Especially with dark magic... It's corrosive on a lot of materials so you need very specific items to contain it..."

[Sirus]

Gilbert runs off to buy a Heal staff on impulse, then returns to Sea.

: "What about the healing magic? Can you take the power from this and place it in something else?"

[Swordstar]

"Oh uhm... no. I can't. It's already in gem form and just... healing magic is different. More... internal than external like attack magic. I pull it from the tome vs from inside me... or something like that?"

[Sirus]

: "Ah. C'est la vie."

The troubadour shrugged, realized that he had just run off to spend more money on a healing staff that he didn't really need...then shrugged again. He wasn't about to return it, and it would come in handy.

: "You would, of course, know more about tomes and your ability than I would."

[Swordstar]

Sea gave a small shrug.

"It's just... I don't know. Tomes are a source of magic, right? When you heal someone, is it using the magic inside the staff or do you channel magic through the staff? But you saw the magic get pulled out of a tome. Especially anima magic is external magic. Uhm, you know. Nature powers and stuff. Err... Yeah. I guess Ava might know more about how dark magic works than I do but I do think it works like anima..."
