It makes sense thst csr manufacturers would need money and time to refit their factories to make something so unlike cars

A guy over on Something Awful gave a pretty good example of the difficulties of changing production.

In February of 1942, the Underwood and Rock-Ola typewriter companies agreed to switch to producing M1 carbines instead of mechanical typewriters (which is pretty similar work, except for the gun barrels, and was in a time when a lot of the machinery was less specialized).  Underwood transitioned well, and began producing rifles by November of that year, producing 3000 units by the end of 1942. Production peaked in December 1943 with 90,510 carbines produced.

Rock-Ola performed much more poorly. The first guns weren't completed until February 1943, and they were able to produce 2000 a month by July. Most of the weapons they produced were rejected as unfit due to cracked chambers and bad headspacing.

Not a perfect analogy, but it is a worthwhile examination of how hard it can be to change production.

Can you imagine what it would be like to have a political party who was against things like racism, homophobia, corporate welfare, screwing the poor, rape, abuse, etc., and instead tried to help people and the environment?

MSH is every bit the Speaker-of-the-House firebrand and you cannot prove otherwise.

We do have those outside the US. It’s good. You should try it.

I'm pretty sure equating MSH to pelosi risks causing the former to spontaneously combust :P

Though not going to lie, I'm not sure I'd want to be called presidential anymore. The bar for that's never been the highest, and it's currently hovering at "malignant narcissist dementia sufferer".

If you include the jellybean pervert, it's been that way a long time.

Personally, I think Dunamisdeos is most qualified to be President.

The Radical Centrist Bazooka Party has my vote for 2020.

what;s the platform for the party? Based on the title, it involves the massive production of bazookas, right?

I'm pretty sure if Pelosi had a match's worth of fire in her she'd instantly die - that's the consequence of being the Democratic equivalent of Vichy France and being elected during the middle of the Reagan era.

Now, the socialist Newt Gingrich, that I can see. Save the part about divorcing his dying wife to marry a new young one, anyway.

Or firing centrists out of bazookas. Both seem good to me.

As a ck2 player, I see nothing wrong with that. You can't sire the perfect ubermensch genius heir with a dying wife. Not since they added troubled pregnancy events.

It would be a better game if they decided to make the fun stuff (plots, etc.) should be reasonably do-able for players as well as the computer. non-politicians.
