Well, after some investigation, my plan for the Spellsword class is pretty much not gonna be doable. On the other hand, SIGNIFICANT progress has been made with the Workshops, and in the (hopefully) near future i will be releasing that - either a friend of mine will complete the final steps, or i wil find time to finish it. With luck, i could get it up here in a couple of days. Once again, sry i haven't been active - many, many, many, many things going on for me right now. But progress IS BEING MADE! I will attempt to work on my DF mod more often, once again sry for all of the delays.

Hey. Remember when you modded the Icedwellers. Not sure if I told you already, but they did not work. I fixed them!

But I kept what would not break the game.

It was the lack of having them farm!

Game couldn't handle it!

DAMN! That was one of the most definitive things - that vikings could not farm food. Oh well.

So for whatever reason. The game crashes every time I save the game. It does not matter if I am in Fortress Mode or Adventure Mode. It seems that it might crash even while loading the legends.

yes, i have also encountered this problem - it was improved after i went thru the various names in search of gliches therein, but i have not been entirely able to remove it - i usually just make a shorter world. I will get on it soon!

Well, due to a destroyed hard drive, been out of commission for quite some time - I'm back now, and will look into bug fixes and new content for this mod in the relatively near future. Its not ABANDONED - I really just had no way of working on it further. And I was very busy - still am, but less so.

Also, apparently the last post I made here was on my birthday - good memories! Sorry I cannot help you yet Hakazaba  - I will look into fixing the actual problems there first, something will be wrong with one of the Druid RAWS most likely - lots of Druid RAWS, they seem to be a major problem causer.

Hi, I'm very interested in this mod, but I've been having problems similar to the others. Save crashing? Any ways to avoid that? Also, I've been trying to paste the raws into my Mac version of DF, could that be causing any problems? I have an error log a mile long when I try to boot it up. Finally, how do the magic metals work? Usefulness vs. steel?

On top of this, I’ve been having trouble actually becoming a warlock. I’ve savescummed and profaned several different temples, even changed the raws to make blood drinking work, but nothing.

Hmm - the Warlocks seem to turn up pretty frequently in worldgen, dnk why it won't work. Magical metals are, I believe, all equal to the same metal they are named. So a metal called Dragonsteel is as strong as Steel, and Dragons take EXTRA damage. I think. It's been a few months, need to get back to working on this. Sry I disappeared.
