Can't get 8x12 ascii to work no matter what I do
« on: February 03, 2017, 02:34:20 pm »

Title. Changing renderer to 2D does nothing. It appears that the font of what is selected in TWBT will be the main font of the game, which doesn't make sense if it isn't the renderer. I changed it to ASCII, but then it just uses the square ASCII that I don't like.

what do?

Yeah same problem. I want to use Grimdark tileset but because there isn't a TWBT for Grimdark, it always gets overwritten by something else.

It will work if you turn creature sprite on but then you'll get some creatures (including dwarves) converted to the default graphical sprite, which looks like Phoebus.

I figured out a work around. Find the tileset image that you want to use, in this case the original ASCII, then paste it in TWBT folder in Masterwork DF utility, along with other TWBT tilesets.

By doing that you'll add a new TWBT option in the drop down menu. Switch to TWBT and choose what you just pasted.
