At the last report, our economy was at 4. We then built more ships (presumably -1, possibly even -2), and then bought more slaves (presumably -1).
The looting of Qire probably didn't hurt our economy score directly.
Our mining operations just started, so probably won't pay off this year. If they do, that is probably +1.
In total, then, we are probably at 2, maybe even 1, if we're lucky 3.
Spending money when we are at 2 or 1 is a BAD IDEA. Counting on our mining operations to pay out is risky.

We would have to raise additional revenues if we end the year at a score of 1, which means either raising taxes (our happiness is 3 (or lower, from the looting) at the moment, and we have seen that if happiness drops below 3 you get riots), or selling slave warriors back to the guild (after we JUST bought them).

If we can conquer the main island, the Nestel are goners. The loot and resources we get from them will surely bounce us back.

It's not that I suddenly disliked the SPAM[locale] format, it's just that this... is not the same as Luathbas, y'know? It might be SPAMKINGDOM but it's just not as good. The ruination of Luathbas was an error that I allowed you to make to oeasily. I want my Hurthlings back, and the Kiwis, and dragons and magical spirit of white deer and traveling wizards with quests and salt demons and dwarf artifacts and elven assassins.
