The turkey lord
« on: February 16, 2017, 02:37:31 pm »

So i was playing adventure mode. Started on a mead hall that was located on a volcano (after reaching top floor i was informed i reached the summit). after killing the old lord and claiming the place for myself i exit the hall and killed a bunch of bandits. After returning i would then be spammed with the same message claiming i was now in control of the place, over and over each time i moved. After retiring him and creating a new demigod to kill some bandits i run into a turkey. i kileld it but after fast traveling i noticed an asterik (*). Stopping fast travel i run into the same turkey. I kill it again but each time i leave the place the * follows me again and the goddamn turkey wouldnt die for real. After killing it for like 17 times i decided to juts ignore it and continue un my quest to kill bandits. I stop to drink from a well in the town and it was frozen and the parts of the well were on the ground (bucket, chain, etc) So i returned from where i came and the turkey was there again. But it was glowing purple so i use x to look at it and this happened

sorry if the image is too large.

My guess is that they eat a farm raised human on Thanksgiving.

the town had a low social skilling that they elect a turkey.
or the turkey round up an band of insurgences and usurp the other leader.
I have seen the latter happen before with a dog and his army of animals with their tiger second in command.

I just noticed that it is still listed as a stray.

Maybe it was the only valid historical figure to be a resident of the town in question. Though that's pretty far fetched.

oh yes the insurgence route. the turkey might have killed the last lord/lady of the place and claim it or recently stop an uprising.

To imagine the lord being pecked to death by a turkey. That is some pretty crazy stuff, and than the turkey be made the lord. That is pretty crazy, though probably not the craziest thing ive heard from this game.

Reminds me of Way of the Samurai 2, there's a part where one of the gangs in one of the paths end up letting out a kinda silly shout, "LONG LIVE THE NEW BOSS!" and this turkey is sitting there gobbling away.

Course that got me trying to figure out how to justify it talking.

"Thank god, take care of this samurai, O-kyo!"

Reminds me of Stubbs the cat and Bosco the dog.

Allegedly, a chimpanzee got hundreds of thousands of votes for mayor of Rio de Janeiro coming in third.  And a turkey puppet might have beat an actual candidate in the Republic of Ireland's 1997 presidential election. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-human_electoral_candidates

Hahahaha, this is totally ironic in that is Gigmaster's current Fortress stream, the fortress is overrun with turkeys and the Headcanon is that the Turkeys are taking over... Gentlemen I believe we may have a Forum wide conspiracy on our hands...

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.
