well if I am almost off, jump off, move away from its reach and try to bandage my hands quickly.

The bear ought to bleed out soon, even if I failed to lodge the hiltless dagger in it's neck. Arteries spurt blood rather fast after all. it might even suffer from brain death before that because no blood reaching its head!
