Wasn't there a Discworld mod?
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:37:15 pm »

I don't know if this is some Mandela Effect bullshit, but wasn't there a mod adding a bunch of stuff from the Discworld universe to DF? i remember seeing a thread for it a long while ago but now I can't find it anymore.

I don't recall a Discworld DF Mod.  I also did a quick search of the forums and DFFD and found nothing.
The closest I can think of was an old Angband variant - If you also play Angband, you could have been thinking of that.

There was a veeery short-lived plan of myself and (I think) Deon to make one, you may be recalling that thread. Still think it's an awesome idea.

"Dwarven Bakery" should be a standalone mod in its own right.

You could bake forge Dwarven Bread using cave wheat and plaster.  By adding water or rebaking it with fuel, you can convert it back and forth indefinitely between a non-decaying "food" item and a bludgeoning weapon.

Edit: Never mind, I just made it.
