Faith looked between everyone as the chaos began once again, and she came to a realization: she had already put up a shield, and she couldn’t do much else without blowing the torso off of some poor servant, so she would kind of have to wait around for a bit longer.
Faith hides away in the corner again.

The moment Yoake removes the clothes and strips Vendelin, Minato manifests Durandal and stabs the clothes to impale them into a wall away from Vendelin.

Having followed through the portal, Yuki pouts at Yoake. "That wasn't taking responsibility at all! You need to apologize to her for stealing her first kiss!" she says, as she waits to help destroy the panty-monster-thing when it's removed.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: The Battle Is To The Strong]

"What?" (Vendelin)

That, was about the only thing the unfortunate butler got out before Yoake rear ends him with her rear end. A shadowy aura flares around him as she impacts, the construct raising its shielding to counter the blow. He remains fully clothed, for now at least. But in between the botched jump and all that shielding, the target's probably gonna be quite drained.

Meanwhile...
"Huh... I didn't know you were a chuunibyou..."
"Yeah, wow you really didn't look the type." (Arnold)

That didn't work, unsurprisingly. They'd seemed to understand the part about Minato, but after that it seemed he'd lost them, for obvious reasons. Anyway, this was becoming irritating. "Look. Forget all that." He activated his requiem here, impatient to get this over with, and continued applying it through the following few sentences, specifically to the messages that they were in danger and needed to hide. "Let me make this simple. Masked Knight Gaia is here, fighting something. You are in danger. So go hide somewhere safe for an hour. And text here to see if it's safe after that."

He didn't specify the grounds this time, since he'd remembered that once the sanctuary broke open, there'd be a lot of fleeing. Presumably across the grounds. Instead, he continued without his requiem. "Upstairs is probably best." He made sure they'd gone, and if he hadn't he repeated the simple message of danger, flee to upstairs for a while.

Shef requiems the people. Alteration to a 5 though presumably it won't affect anything like last time. Just need to be safe though.

Yoake knew she would be stunned, and uses her remaining energy to find a place to cover.

Recover from stun somewhere safe.

Faith, in her little corner, kept watching as things remain as silly and chaotic as ever, without presenting any signs of really changing. And then she sighed. "Ohhh man... I really gotta do something, huh?"
She sighed again, then she puffed herself up to look all brave and dominant, and then she put her hands together and put a second Shield of Courage. Hopefully with these plus the armor that had formed up under her maid uniform when she'd come in, she could manage a distraction.
"Karen, please tangle him up with the whip while I run up anddistracthimbecausethat'stheonlythingIcanreallydohereaaaaaa!"
Faith puts up another Shield of Courage, charges into the vicinity of Vendelin, and then lobs an intentionally shitty and weak blast of raw magic at Vendelin to distract the strange underwear thing without really harming the butler.

Prepare to spear the underwear should it finally be removed from its unfortunate host. Failing that, try to help restrain the man.

Also drop that 2.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: The Battle Is To The Strong]

Faith's blast explodes harmlessly against Vendelin, sort of just splashing outwards against his chest, that seemed to do the trick as while the the construct focused its defenses forwards Yuki sneaked up that ass like an alligator, tearing the man's pants and underwear free as their shield shatters. After that, it was a simple matter for Noriko to put a spear through it. Shards scatter out from the remains, flying over to each of you.

Spoiler: Level Up! (click to show/hide)

And in the distance, you hear the rumble of something great and terrible, a great mechanical beast stirring to life.

"The Sanctuary is unsealed, they're going to make a break for it."

There's a roar, a scraping of metal, and then just this cacophony of raw noise.

"Satoshi's reporting something emerging from the Sanctuary it looks like an armored train."
"Warning! Energy spike detected! Heaven's Draft is activating. I repeat, Heaven's Draft is-"

[Now Playing: Nothing]

Ever been caught in a flashbang? That, doesn't even hold a candle to this. This, this is the wrath of God given form. The light. The sound. It's like being caught at Ground Zero, of fucking Hiroshima. It's like being caught next to a supernova.

The light, the heat, that's what comes first. It's, well, blinding doesn't even come close to describing it. It's like, light. Light itself. Like getting flashed by a seraphim, and I don't mean low-key flashed, I mean like, his dick's in your face and you can't avert your eyes because his dick is physically IN your eye and you can't wrench it free. It's bright, that's what I'm getting at, real bright.

The blast is what comes next, the shockwave. It's doesn't really sound like an explosion, more the screech of metal, like a great sword falling out of the heavens themselves and plunging into the very earth, which coincidentally is exactly what an outside observer would see, y'know, before getting super flashbanged and just, generally having their day ruined. The sound, the reverberation, you can feel it pushing itself through your body, forcing itself through your very form as if trying to drown our your very identity, tear our your sense of self, which, you suspect is precisely what the others in the mansion are experiencing this very moment.

It's disorientating, it's overwhelming, but it fades, and it fades fast. Two seconds later and you're right back to your senses, back to normal. The rest of the world, not so much. Clear skies now clouded and dyed blood red, spring breeze turned to winter gales. The civilians turn to face you now clad in the shining armor of the Knights Templar, in perfect unison with voices not their own, they cry "DEUS VULT!"

Okay so, here's the situation now:

Vendelin has sprouted an oversized hovering greatsword and an ornate boombox that is currently firing an explosive shockwave of gregorian chants towards Faith's face. Evi is leaping past Yuki on her armor's inbuilt roller skates and trying to spray her Hong Kong Blood Opera style with a pair of silver spray cans loaded with godsknowswhat. And Fleur is currently surfing her shield along the walls leaving a trail of holy fire in her wake while trying to bring her sword down on Yoake's head is a fairly vicious mordhau .

Shef, yeah, you're probably not going to be feeling too happy seeing as the weapon detonated about five seconds after you finally convinced Mary and Arnold to leave, and now their altered forms are both on you with as much wrathful fervor as Chris Hansen at an anime convention. Mary for one has decided to try and skewer you with a jousting lance on her new armored motorcycle while Arnold tries to sweep his electric guitar's laser across your legs.

"They're escaping. Don't think we're fast enough to catch them on foot, but there's some cars and bikes in the garage, I'm en route there and I don't think they'll be too hard to hotwire. If anyone's got any preferences, speak up now."

Ooo, now things were getting exciting! Yoake, having recovered from her stupor, takes a fighting stance, before...

She does a backflip, preparing her breasts to catch Fleur's sword in an Evil Bust grip, intending to then throw Fleur into the ground and take her shield to surf off and out the front door of the mansion.

She also clicks a button on her car keys with a spare hand, aiming for her car to drive to the front of the mansion.

". . . You've got to be kidding" As the flash subsided, Shef watched as Mary and Arnold turned around intent on murdering him. What fun. Mary was charging on a motorcycle, and Arnold looked like he'd be hanging back a bit. Since they were both coming from the same direction, it seemed likely that Mary might start getting in the way of the man's ranged stuff. That at least was good. Now, he needed to get out. Should be pretty simple, he had a method dedicated to precisely this.

As Mary charges and Arnold attacks, use Room to Breath, and portal rapidly between them, past and into another room. Then down, and into a room to the left. From there he'd start to use normal speed portals to make his way outside and towards the garage. Alter to a 5, use a 3 for room to breathe.

"I'm going to try something. Minato, you're coming with me." She felt an odd surge of power as she absorbed the shards; normally she wouldn't be quite this impulsive, but she had a good feeling about this.

Use two Resolve Points. Sudarshana on Minato, and use Sauparna. Fly right through that goddamn window.

The Kumon heir would find himself rather unceremoniously flying through the window at an alarming velocity, Noriko in hot pursuit. In instants, all that was left of the presence of both of them was the echoing howl of the wind carrying both Godslayers through the air in the direction of whoever and whatever was fleeing that Sanctuary. . . And the conspicuous absence of the window.

Faith already hadn’t liked the idea of the entire mission, and right now, she was having a bad time in general. First had come the incredible light, suddenly and instantly replacing her entire world with the simple concept of HOLY FUCK IT’S BRIGHT. Then deafening, horrible, all-encompassing sound hirbher and for a moment she wondered how her ears weren’t bleeding. Of course, that blast of overwhelming sensation faded...

...but when the world came back into view, the old butler had suddenly turned into a crusader-armored sword-hovering, Gregorian boombox-blasting... Faith couldn’t actually think of a noun that could possibly follow that all up, but what she could think of was that this whole situation was suddenly way more terrifying and it SUCKED.

So she popped another Shield of Courage around her body. Sure she actually wasn’t feeling courageous at all in that moment, and each shield likely wouldn’t be that strong, but she also had THREE SHIELDS, so it’d probably work out fine. Then Faith made what was totally a decision to follow the train and not a decision to run for it. Also she was totally making a battlecry as she ran and totally wasn’t just squealing terrifiedly.

Faith throws a third Shield of “Courage” up and then proceeds to book it for the front door..
