Okay so apparently the SANCTUARY'S SUN was HURTLING TOWARDS THEM. At least it wasn't a literal sun, it was just a bunch of metal but BOY DID THAT SOUND LIKE A PROBLEM ANYWAY. Faith took a single deep breath (all she had time for) and calmed down a bit, though -- they'd dealt with that moth thing pretty handily, so they could blow their way through this too!

After Shef did his thing with the portal and before Yoake slammed into the Neon Sun, Faith extended an arm (even though she was already winded from her previous powerful beam and kind of struggling to breathe) and blasted off yet another beam, making this one wide-aperture and aiming where Yoake was about to hit in an attempt to give her less metal to have to burst through.
Faith fires aNOTHER Freedom Beam, this time wide-aperture, at the center of the front of the Neon Sun! Use a resolve to make it work.

"Stay close and keep your head down, Faith!"
Aside from the tendrils keeping Faith protected, drive half the remaining stockpile into the Neon Sun and detonate them all. Burn the 1, use the 3.

Apply 'Chain Lightning', and then just be prepared to chainsaw the thing when it gets close.

Noriko sets her spears in position to catch the incoming charge, holding them in place using her Requiem while maintaining a safe distance.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

[Now Playing: JUDGEMENT]

So this great big sun's launching forth, trying to murc all your sorry asses but well, you'd think think by now with their fancy combat data and all that they'd think they've have realized that running at y'all dickfirst and screaming ain't the brightest idea. No? Well, sucks to be them. So Faith just fucking blasts the front of the Neon Sun open, just fucking bores straight through, leaving Shef rather blue-balled.

As you speed into the depths of the broken sun, you get a better look at its internal structure. Well as good as you'll get racing through at this speed. A hard shell of armor measured in meters instead of inches, concealing a labyrinthine facility. The walls are white. The air is chilled, sterile, complete, more whole than the world outside, the world outside that just shattered. There is nothing outside the broken sun now. The world is the sun, and the sun is the world. Curvature vanishes. You tear through, crash down into the center, or at least, what once was.

The impact, isn't too bad actually. Minato blew half his stockpile decelerating and tearing through. Noriko could decelerate at her leisure and clear debris with her spears. Yoake had timestop and wings.

You find yourselves having crashed down into some sort of door-lined hallway. It's, pretty fucked up, and not from your doing either. Blood is splattered across the walls, furniture lies in disarray, the walls and floors have been riddled with cracks, craters and bullet holes. As the dust and debris begin to fade, you see further in front of you, the hall terminates in a conference room, one in as bad a shape as everywhere else, holding a man in as bad a shape as everyone else, a wounded man, an angry man. An aramitama in the shape of a man, and as he turns to face you you can see that he is-

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! MARK MY WORDS! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! YOU WILL RUE THE DAY-"

-Hitler. Literally taking the form of Hitler because subtlety is dead. The main addition to the whole thing seems to just be the three heart-shaped locks floating behind him, chains binding them together into a ring. He's bleeding from a deep cut across his chest, his clothes are torn, and he's brandishing a luger. Well was anyway, right now he's just shouting and lunging for your throats.

"You... I have no time for your meddling. Guards! Kill them all!"

[Now Playing: Knights of the Holy Lance]

Two figures explode out of the walls before you, armored figures, mechanical figures, clad in angular armor illuminated by unearthly neon lights, well whatever lights are still intact. Most shine some more, a few throw sparks. Their forms are humanoid, almost, they're a bit taller, slimmer, and move with a mixture of grace and frightening power, accentuated by their ghostly auras of psychdelic images and blue-shifted space. Sweeping its oversized vapestick, one summons a flowing plume of flame formed not of fire, but neon smoke out from which strange and ever-shifting images. The other gestures and snaps their fingers, a small explosion of that same energy about to erupt, centered right on where Faith currently is. The Aramitama himself, darts forwards, malice in his eyes, readying to strike Faith and Minato.

Yoake
Hard to assess his style, but just from his motions alone you can tell the Aramitama is well-versed in martial arts.

Yoake grins. An opponent! A true opponent, not some robot using crude guns! Simply a man with fists and feet. This was one she could fight truly.

Yoake chugs the Requiem potion as fast as she can, before activating her Requiem. The desired Land is a thin stretch of land extending out from a wide circular base. This way, Yoake and Hitler will be standing on the thin stretch, her companions will be on the circular base, and the guards will have no ground to stand on. Then, she goes in, flying up with her mechanical wings and swinging her butt at Hitler, brandishing the fiery tails that extend from it.

It almost appeared as though they were interrupting something, what with Hitler--wonderful, just wonderful, wasn't he killed on the moon or something-- and the surroundings displaying a fair bit or damage.
Shef considered briefly that the comms might not be working, before attempting to call Winter and Enn to ask, " Enemy Aramitama appearing as Hitler. Who was in here before us? Seeing signs of a previous fight."

Use Rapid Fire [4] through a portal off to the side to get around Yoake and hit Hitler. Also get off mech, since Yoake is going in for close quarters. Alter to a five.

And by God, was she going to use it.

Shef
"Another Aramitama, they just left."
"It appears that they sabotaged this Sanctuary and launched its core, what you are currently inside at you, using your entrance and the disruption to the internals as an opportunity to escape. We withdrew Mary and her servants as a precaution, but the Aramitama vanished as soon as came back out."

"Hitler? And here I thought we could actually be serious for once. Give me a break. . ." Noriko didn't waste any time, though; she aimed to set one spear in the Aramitama's path as it charged forward, or failing that just stab him with the thing. The second was tossed in the direction of Knight B, and the third she kept close to herself as she moved to flank said target personally, aiming for a killing blow.

Yuki blinks. "Oooooh, we get to fight Hitler? That's reaaaaally cool. You think he'll teleport to his moon base for his second form-" Yuki was interrupted as the attacks began, and she was forced to catch Faith. Priorities - after getting Faith she'd put her sister behind her and put the chainsaw out front like a spear, daring anyone to try and get past.

...Also, helping Yoake out.

Do above + Guidance of the Moon Yoake (and herself while she's at it)

Dangerous amounts of magic gathering behind Minato. Right on Faith's position. Not great. Right past his shields. That was the bad part. Minato could care less about Hitler rushing at him; that was just part of the job.

He needed to do several things; get Faith out of danger, stop Hitler's charge in his tracks and then ready him for his teammates. This was going to be rocky, shaky, and he was probably going to have to apologise about messing up Tsukasa's exoskeleton.

Plan developed.
"Faith, you're not going to like this. Yuki, catch!"
Minato suddenly throws Faith away from his tendrils towards Yuki, before blasting the five tendrils that used to hold Faith to boost himself towards Hitler. Use another five and the remains of Rho Aias to absorb the impact of the attack and drive Hitler into Yoake's path. Activate Gate of the Grand Arsenal to add more to the stockpile for later.

For a couple of seconds, Faith just boggled at the Aramitama, completely unsure how to react even though pretty much every enemy present was attacking her. Somehow, the Awakened world just kept finding ways to surprise her. <"WHAT THE FUCK?! WHY IS IS HITLER HEUAUAUGUH--"> Faith's incredulous reaction was promptly turned into a surprised wail as she was bodily thrown through the air to be caught by her half-sibling. Then she'd been plopped onto her feet, and so she just decided to do what she had to, pulling one of of the energy potions from her belt, downing it to deal with the exhaustion of, uh, everything that had just happened and her blasting magic everywhere. With that taken care of, she moved her hands into the position of a rifle (Shef, if he looked, would notice that despite visibly miming holding a gun, the position of her hands indicated she clearly never had), and tried out a new technique, sending a bullet of solid energy (so as to not hit any of the members of the team also going for Hitler) the Kung Fuhrer's way.

Faith downs an energy potion after being tossed and then uses Truth's Strike on Hitler! Alteration to 6!

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

[Now Playing: Knights of the Holy Lance]

Everything becomes a complete and utter clusterfuck in five seconds flat.

Just chaos, pandemonium, Saturday at Tsukasa's.

See uh, Faith, never reaches Yuki. Instead, with a kick that seemed to happen in a single instant, Hitler shatters her aegis, punting her right into Vape Knight A's distortion, breaking her remaining shield. Turns out he was not where he was, what you all saw was just an afterimage. When Yoake's Requiem went off, he was already in your midst.

It was a dupe, a bamboozle. Don't be so upset you didn't see it coming - neither did France.

Yoake's faster than France though. Things felt off when she dragged everyone inside. So she pivots, sweeping her flaming tails backwards. But see, the thing is, she's not the only one who noticed. Precognition, scrying, information from nothing. It can be a very dangerous power indeed, and those marked by the goddess are blessed with unerring aim in a similar vein. Yuki's guidance goes off, and though neither Minato nor Shef knew they were striking at an illusion, their attacks shift. Or rather, reality shifts. Space twists and bends, and for a brief moment, as impossible as it sounds, the path between the two attacks and their targets becomes a straight line. Minato rushes forwards and hits behind himself amidst a hail of lead.

So uh, end result is that Hitler is just on fire, riddled with bullets, and now being rammed off the platform by Minato.

Minato, Noriko, that afterimage was a cheap trick. It won't work again. You know he can do it now, and you know as long as you stay vigilant, as long as you don't overcommit, it won't save him again. Well for what little measure it saved him this time.

Yoake, you're less certain. He's shown an ace sure, and you guys did in turn, but the thing is, it's a little more than just a trick, you know that much. All martial arts is about footwork, keijo especially, and that sidestep, it's dangerous. Suddenly moving to your opponent's side and striking in an instant, even after seeing through the illusion it's a threat, a powerful spacing tool, a constant threat, possibility that keeps foes always thinking "Will I need a second strike? Can I make a second strike?" You're not phased though. You can win this. You know you can.

Faith, you, you're not certain of anything in this midst of blueshifted whatthefuckery you find yourself in, save for perhaps that the next few seconds are gonna hurt. The distortion isn't fading and the Vape Knight that produced it, while now stuck treading water, is more than close enough to execute a brutal upwards swing with its staff, aiming for your chest. The other Knight has yet to resurface, but you can feel it targeting you with another blast, it must be hiding under the water somewhere, it's mechanical after all, it has no need to breath. You'll have to trust Noriko to handle it - it caught a spear to the chest right before it went under.

Hitler meanwhile seems to be trying to focus as he draws a pistol, pointing it to... his own head? Y'all get the feeling you don't wanna be so close to him anymore.

Yoake eyes Hitler. What kind of move was this? She had studied enough history to know about the real Hitler, but this seemed strange for an arimatama... Probably a trap.

Gotta get the gun out of his hand.

Yoake twists and spins in the air, with the rockets boosting her while she prepares a Vacuum Butt Cannon. She releases it, shooting the guns and trying to hit a general spiral but focus on getting the gun out of his hand.
