A table, or a really heavy chair. Probably the former, but maybe reinforcement could make the sound different. It did matter a bit, both could be stopped with a portal, but a table would be a lot easier to roll over than a chair if he decided not to make a portal. He decided to use a portal.

Portal in front of Shef, at approximately where the table seems to be coming from. Doesn't matter if it's big enough, or perfectly aligned, it'll probably still be alright. Activate Tighten the Noose, and prepare to snap a cached portal down on baghead if he gets close, if Shef can manage it.

Eagle 4 Sailor Sun <<"I'm going to try something! Uh, Heart Neme-- uh, Nemesis, if this works, and you'll know by the lasers from those ice flowers turning pink if it does, then I want you to spread them to as many other ice flowers if you can!">>

With that, and with the pressure seeming to finally be off of her for a moment, Faith tucked into a steep dive towards one of the Ice Weeds, and as she did she began to gather up Doki Doki radiation from her Regalia, balling it up behind her with the intent of channeling it into the spell she was about to unleash upon the supervillainous construct. But, no, that spell wasn't going to be a mighty beam or ball of destruction -- Faith had no intention of removing this Ice Weed from play. No, Faith had something actually rather more devious in mind.

Eagle 4 Sailor Sun <<"Fluffles, if this works I want you to warn the others not to get touched by the energy the ice flowers put out for, uh, reasons that will become obvious to you! Try to make sure the enemies don't hear!">>

And with that (her dialogue somewhat shouted now thanks to the dive) Faith put a cloud of magic around the Ice Weed that was her target... and even if she was in a worse mood, it would have been unpredictable whether that spell would blind the Ice Flower. But she wasn't in a bad mood anyway, so there most definitely would be no blinding effect.

But that wasn't the point anyway.

Faith dives to an Ice Weed and uses No Way Out/Clouds of Sunlight on it, pumping as much radiation into this spell as she can manage, even at the expense of damage if she can manage that! Alteration to a 3.

(Hyper Updated: No Way Out/Clouds of Sunlight [3]: Faith causes mists of magic energy to form around her opponents! When Faith's in positive emotional states, it wreathes their whole body and damages them constantly, whereas if she's in a negative emotional state it coalesces around their heads and, aside from being impossible to see through itself, applies a Blindness Hex!

World Line: 1-->3 1 1 3 4 6 4 2 4 1

Eagle 2 ♡Nemesis♡ <<"Mmhmmhmm, you can count on me~!">> What followed was most definitely a supervillain giggle. Eagle 2 ♡Nemesis♡ <<"None can stand in the way of the Sinister Magical Girl of Space, for her spatial powers defy the mind and bring the weak to tremble at her knees!">>

With her theatrical little speech (as necessary to her very being as it was fun) brought to an end, Distance got to work putting her part of the plan together -- if the Ice Weed targeted by her current compatriot started spewing out pinkened lasers, then she would really put her wormhole-opening abilities out there to the max, opening up three wormholes in a display of passion and flair and resolve and using these to teleport irradiated beams of light into other Ice Flowers scattered across various points in the battlefield, ultimately with the goal of spreading the Doki Doki Radiation as widely across the Ice Weeds as she could!

(If the first Ice Weed DIDN'T start putting out pinkened light then, well, she would just take the liberty of executing one of the Ice Weeds -- making a violent X motion with her hands, she would abruptly shear space at an Ice Weed's stem violently in two directions, something that a spindly structure like an Ice Weed would be rather hard-pressed to withstand.)

If Faith successfully infects the output of the Ice Weed she's targeting with Doki Doki Radiation, Distance casts Wormhole (3) three times, burning two resolve and using alterations as necessary!

(If Faith doesn't, she just uses Einstein's Shears on an Ice Weed!

Eagle 1 Challenger <<You heard the two everyone, fall in and keep these interceptors off our gals for as long as possible!>>
With that said, and the weird area of effect kitten incident hopefully off of everyone's minds for now, Immanuel ramps up his rocket boot's output as he blasts forth to help the others saturate the air with plasma and fire, hopefully cutting off the interceptors movements and taking the cold off of Sailor Sun and Nemesis.

Immanuel tries to get the allied forces to help him keep the interceptors off of Faith and Distance, while also spending an alteration to turn his first 3 into a 4 and spend it to activate Sofortige elektromagnetische schienenkanone-Erstellung (4)

Faith
Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

[Now Playing: Glacial Skies]

Auxiliary field rectifiers extend from the interface suit, ribbons and frills unfurling from their housings as the very air around Faith begins to shimmer with a distinctive pink glow of Honeydrop Radiation. All throughout the League's tactical network sensors register an energy spike. Source unknown, it had been suppressed until now. At this amplification level stealth was no longer an option. It never was really.

A few straggling interceptors peel off from their retreat, moving to harass this new threat but they find themselves intercepted in turn by Immanuel and Cynthia, a deluge of plasma and gunfire suppressing their advance and forcing a withdrawal.

Concealed in the rear of Faith's staff a ringed spike pierces the field, raw power surging through the Coco-Sugarbun Conduit and into the weapon's internal systems. At its very tip the Friendship Manifold burns with apocalyptic light and then it is gone, extinguished, expended, cast into its target.

The initial radiation surge burns out the Ice Weed's sensors blinding it while the thermal shock shatters its delicate mirror petals. A minor setback. The repair process is swift, mist and matter rerouting through networked root structures and up through its stem. What damage had been done was repaired in a matter of seconds. Unthinking, unknowing, the algorithms of its core had no idea how big a mistake this would turn out to be.

A beam of light pierces the radiation storm, the clouds of light bubbles and love hearts, and it comes out looking much the same, a vibrant pink beam laden with Doki Doki Radiation. It streaks through Distance's waiting wormhole striking the stems of several of its brethren. The brief pulse lengths are the only real saving grace here - had the compromised ice weed been given more beam time a lot more of the relay would have been compromised.

Faith notices an additional problem however: strictly speaking, she's only really compromised one ice weed. Dozens more had been irradiated yes, but they were only good for once pulse. They took one pulse worth's of radiation and at best she could only redirect it into their next beam pulse. Doki Doki Radiation for all its horrific effects was radiation, it was energy, it was not a disease, a pathogen, it could not fester and replicate inside the infected, meaning the only weed introducing additional radiation into the system right now was the one caught within her spell.

There were a few ways to handle this: she could try and split the cloud apart, redistribute it across multiple flowers to cover more bases. She could lead a strike on an emitter and compromise the supply at the source. Or perhaps she could try using her current leverage to irradiate the other weeds without relying on beam redirection. When she struck the ice weed she hadn't just irradiated the flower, though that was where she had focused her efforts, she had siphoned some of the radiation down, down through the stem and through its roots. They were expansive, expansive and networked. Multiple cores, multiple ice weeds, all networked together in a single vast root system. It wasn't a bad idea - were the weeds independent any regeneration potential would be wasted on a healthy weed, there would be no damage to undo, but here all networked together this potential was pooled, a healthy weed's regeneration could be diverted to its damaged brethren leading to the rapid regeneration they've been exhibiting. Just one problem - this connects them together and Faith could now ensure this little weed would share a little more than just radiation.

A fourth option occurs to Immanuel: cull the rest. Only a limited number of nodes in the network could be compromised. While compromised they would inflict casualties over time but only when they were being used and there would still be more uncompromised nodes than compromised. What if other nodes went offline however? The ice weeds regenerate rapidly, they can redeploy, rebuild too. But with everyone packing napalm a good chunk of the network could be kept offline at any given time, stripping many of the interceptors of their primary power supply and saturating their ranks with this strange girly radiation.

With a screech the interceptor swarm swoops down, trajectories almost vertical, a coordinated dive bombing run aiming to strafe, bomb, and scatter, completely oblivious to what now awaits them.

Eagle 3 Legion <<I'll draw some fire, I'll mark a position. Intercept on my mark.>>.

And with that she flies up on one of her drones, leaving the other near Distance.

Yuki pretty much just charges, as they expect her to - but well, she's not dumb, and "in the middle of all of them" is not a place she wants to be, so while charging (and using an alteration on her last 4 to make a 5, and using it for a hyper-black arrows - wide spread, at all of them with a bit of extra focus on the shinobi) she mostly prepares herself to take a blast - and hopefully get blasted out of the fortress where she can prepare for a different kind of attack

Minato, Shef, and Yuki
((Just realized Shef knows that the Unflappable Shinobi's name is Andreaz, so I'll be referring to him as such now.))

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

[Now Playing: Battle 2]

Yuki this place is giving you some real bad vibes so you decide to bail. You're not going to just run, oh no, that's what they'd expect you to do and Yuki knows (What? You're a goddess! You can totally say that!) what dastardly traps they have in stall. No, you're going to charge, charge head on, get hit, and get thrown the fuck out. You'll make sure of that. It'll be like one of those mangas! They'll think they did a real good thing, gloat a bit even and then you'll get up, dust yourself off and smile, smile and explain this is all part of your plan. You're gonna do that smart shit, that thinking shit.

As with anime and pro-wrestling you're gonna have to really sell it, and sell it you do. You rush forwards, chainsaw grinding a trail of sparks behind you as black arrows streak out in a spreading V-formation. There's method to your madness here, the chainsaw? It's going to hit the torpedos even if they don't first blasting your forwards. There's no getting out of your trap easily, they're gonna have to throw you out or blow you through the damn wall and you'll be dragging Canan through it if it comes down to that. The formation meanwhile spreads out your arrows, keeps everything from clumping together, makes it that much harder to blow it all away.

A torpedo leaps from the ground slamming into your chest.

Noise. Heat. Pain.

That one actually hurt. This girl's got some serious firepower.

Your ears are ringing. You're a bit out of it, still reeling from the impact really. You see unfamiliar faces looking down at you, keeping their distances keeping out of the fight. Ah. You're on the pavement, or rather a trench your body gouged into the pavement a good ways down the street, the opposite side of the street.

She must've detonated the entire fusillade there. You're hurt, badly so but you can heal so y'know it's more just a minor inconvenience honestly, and more importantly you're not in the fortress no more. Fortress is across the road, a fair ways away actually (it's a diagonal path) and at the top of the ice-cream parlor. If they're gonna torpedo you you're gonna get a helluvalot more warning and have a lot more space to work with. Oh also, you do still have about two-thirds of your black arrows active still. Can't really sense their surroundings but you can tell which ones are active and what kinda terrain they're traversing. Vaguely. It's all hazy, all touch and feel. But you do sense, you do feel. You've half of what remains up onto the next floor of the fortress, hunting for Andreaz, the remaining half is still on the first floor with Canan. You got no idea where either of them are but well you can just canvas the place till you find them~

No more attacks are coming from the fortress. For now at least.

Shef you, well, you can't see shit. You do hear shit though, you hear a table slam against a cached portal, its passage blocked by the forcefield along its rim. You hear footsteps, a rustle of fabric, and then, an explosion. It came from above, the fortress most likely. That is not the problem. It's the noise, the volume. Discordance, drowning out all else. A brief window of opportunity, to do something without being heard. Was this their plan all along? What are they doing now? You can't tell. But something, something tells you they're not attacking. Call it intuition, call it instinct, call it some blind foolhardy guess, but you don't think they're attacking. The table kick, it's just a probing attack and they're still in front of you, somewhere near Minato's position.

...You need to move, now. There's an attack, you don't know what but you can't stay standing where you are right now.

So Minato, the guy just fucking kicks the table at Shef as you help him get the fuck off of you. There's this big fucking explosion somewhere above and the guy just slinks behind you, well least the guy ain't on you right now.

So you turn around to make sure he's not doing anything funny but well, you know, spinning round, it's a bit of a journey in and of itself, and you? You've always believed that any good journey should be as much about the sights you see as the places you go and boy oh boy what a sight you see. Thighhighs and short-shorts, gold hair and long legs, chest's a bit on the smaller side but really it just adds to her tomboyish charm, her position doesn't hurt either, straddling that chair in a pose you might just save for later...

Well, she certainly has your vote.

Aurelius was probably prepping, Shef reasoned. An assassin after all, for his best moves he would need either time or conditions, or both. The longer Shef stood there, the easier it would be for the enemy to gain both. So, popping a portal open behind him, Shef took aim in the general direction of Minato. But another portal would cap the end of his pistol, directing the bullet into the floor in front of him, launching him back through his own portal, and hopefully out of the building. Under the overhang probably, but he'd just have to accept that.

Use expulser to push Shef out of building through a portal. If he can tell that Aurelius is attacking, attempt to use cached portals with constriction effect.

"Oh? What's this? Cat got your tongue?" A thoughtful tut "What would Faith say I wonder..."
The topic doesn't continue, instead she leans forwards a little closer voice lowering ever so slightly. Business mode. Sort of.
"Why are you here Minato? I'd ask business or pleasure but y'know"
She gestures at Shef as he just fucking blows himself out of the building.
