Yuki considered trying to heal, but reaching deep found that she was tapped out on magic. Which she supposed meant, it was time to just go ham on them - which, she thought as she revved her chainsaw again, was just fine with her. This was way too much fun. Like unreasonably fun. She probably should have been terrified of all of this really - it was suuuuuper dangerous and life-threatening, but she found she really didn't care. It was like one of those shows where the hero adjusts unreasonably quick to their new circumstances, because really they should have a whole lot more hesitation and fear, but then again that's not interesting to watch - everyone kept yelling at that kid to get in the robot when one show tried it. Granted that show was less super mecha anime more psychological horror so maybe it's a bad example. Really she didn't have a ton of choice here did she? It was super cool and she had been waiting for this her whole life or at least since mom went off the deep end, she wasn't sure which, and people had said she was delusional or had awful coping mechanisms or had to grow up but who's laughing now, she was right about at least 40% of the things, which meant she had a responsibility to fight for FRIENDSHIP because this was like an anime and 3 of the 6 people here were her friends and one of the others was her so she didn't count and the other two had sorta just shown up, but they seemed to know Minato so maybe he was friends with them. Minato was surrounded by girls these days wasn't he? It's like he's trying to be a harem protagonist but only one of the girls has shown interest, so maybe not really. Where was she? Oh yeah fighting, it wasn't just friendship because it was also for GOODNESS and HEROISM because the monsters were generally really bad guys, at least she assumed (who knows, maybe there's a nice aramitama or whatever somewhere), and probably would murder people if she didn't murder them first. But it's not murder if you murder the bad things, then it's justice. Or police brutality. But usually justice. Except in the U.S., then it's pretty 50/50 between justice and police brutality, or so she'd heard, she should ask Faith about that. Later though and carefully, maybe one of her parents was a cop - hey she'd never actually asked about Faith's parents, she should do that too.

This mental rant was going through Yuki's mind as she acted, charging forth to follow up on the other's attacks and hopefully not get hit by them, because she doubted Minato's butler had another set of clothing her size. She'd aim for the head if it was possible. Of course, this assumes the Aramitama wasn't vaporized by the other's attacks first.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: Brothers in Arms]

Yeah so Jason isn't even trying to dodge this time, he just fucking lunges at Minato and slashes upwards even as Faith's beam crashes into him. His blade catches the shield and a spear catches him, as does a butt and a chainsaw. There is a flash of lightning, a crash of thunder, and the Aegis, raised upwards by the slash is crushed, shattered by the blade of a guillotine, slamming Minato to the ground. It stays there, motionless for a split second, and then everything explodes with electricity.

Minato, Yoake, and Yuki find themselves immediately zapped by the crackling sparks. It, isn't too damaging, but they have a fair amount of stun to them, and their sheer quantity means that even after it wears off, doing anything other than just focusing on blocking or dodging them will be rewarded with another round of zapping.

Oh and Jason's being a dick and just fucking slashing and shooting at everyone in there, which really isn't helping things. Especially not when he's conjuring another fucking whirlwind of electricity, this one denser and more potent than the one he used earlier, which is just going to turn this entire area into a clusterfuck of poor visibility and hitstun even with most of the shards portaged away thanks to Shef.

"Picking up some weird readings here. By the looks of it, he's destabilizing his own Sanctuary, it won't hold up for much longer."
"Oh no! Noriko! Get down from there!"

Get down? She wasn't in a position to question the advice, but the problem was that "down" happened to be a massive clusterfuck at the moment. Fortunately, she was possessed of a couple things, the most important one of those being reach. Hopefully, enough reach to accomplish what she was about to try without getting her ass fried by a half-dead false god.

Noriko more or less slams downward on the end of her spear, keeping it enlarged, and aiming to drive it all the way down into the ground and pin Jason there with it.

"Oh, what the hell." With a look of resignation, Shef stood up, and grasped his pistol with both hands. As he let out his breath, he slowly pulled the trigger. This proper form wasn't necessary, of course, but the man liked to keep in practice a bit. As soon as the muzzle flashed, Shef began his portals. He kept the shot close to the ground--perhaps the whirlwind would be a bit less dense there, though that wouldn't actually matter--and steered it towards the Aramitama. With the final portal, he directed the bullet towards Jason's skull--if he had one. As soon as he felt the impact, Shef allowed the round to detonate, hopefully inside this false god's head.
Shef uses Portal Shot [R] on Jason, hoping to blow up his head.

Faith could feel her magic starting to sputter out, and she had the strangest feeling that her luck was about to run out. Still, she wasn't being attacked or anything, but her sister was being attacked, and Minato was being attacked! Yoake was being attacked too! She had to do something, didn't she? So she charged up a blast of raw magic and spread it as thinly and widely as she could.
Use a raw bravery magic blast, but spread as widely and thinly as possible so to burn away some of the shards without hurting Faith's teammates. Alteration this to a 5.

Yuki felt some of the healing magic return, and pretty much immediately used it because that foreign dude- Shef, Shef was his name - seemed hurt. She heals him, and then focuses on not dying. If somehow Jason is not dead from everything else, she'll charge in and basically berserker attack him, although doing what she can to avoid the thicker parts of the metal electricity things.

Yoake, still reeling from the earlier attack, knew she couldn't do much. She could only really hope for her allies to finish him off.

However, she could still defend herself from the electric metal as much as possible, and maybe sneak in a small attack on Jason if he wasn't already dead by the time the others acted.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: Brothers in Arms]

As the whirlwind blooms, you hear something a noise. It sounds like glass breaking, and while not particularly loud it seems to drown everything else out, the Sanctuary shatters. You are now on a bullet train bound for Tokyo, one is entering a tunnel, and Noriko's head is currently speeding towards the tunnel entrance at three-hundred-and-twenty kilometers per hour.

Faced with a choice between getting shocked and having her face mate with a mass of cement, Noriko just says fuck it and dives right down, nailing Jason's sorry ass against the roof of the train. Unfortunately, there's an awful lock of electricity between him and her, and while her momentum carries her through, and arcs don't hurt that much, the bullet to the head she receives for her troubles certainly does.

She's flung upwards, slams against the roof of the tunnel and falls back down onto the train a short distance from the electrical storm. Okay yeah, it hurts like a bitch, but still not nearly as much as you'd think a bullet to the head would feel like.

Seeing her flung away, and perhaps importantly, flung safely out of his range, Shef pulls the trigger. Motherfucker looks at all this supernatural bullshit going on around him and just goes "Fuck it, I'mma cap a bitch", and it works. The bullet skims along, mere milimeters above the ground, sparks striking it over and over again, but as Shef's correctly reduced the bullet doesn't give a shit. With one final portal it streaks upwards, through the jaw, up the roof of the mouth, and detonates.

But that doesn't stop the Executioner. A bullet slams into Yoake as she's pinned by the clusterfuck, a machete swing shatters the already-damaged Rho Aias. He fights on still, and it becoming abundantly clear that though he may be pinned, wounded, and outnumbered, so long as this storm is up, it is he who has the advantage.

Yuki and Minato intend to put an end to that. With the covering fire of the shards cleared courtesy of Faith, the boy sprints forwards, shield melting to slag as he forces it through the storm towards his quarry. Yuki meanwhile lunges forwards, lacking a shield like her ally, she relies on sheer momentum to drive her and her weapon forwards even as she finds herself near paralyzed by the electricity.

You're close. Oh so close. Close to see that the revolver's cylinder is still rotating, still rotating to the next chamber. He won't have the time for another shot. There's an impact, and then an explosion.

The storm is fading now, dying away. And at its center stands Minato stands alone. Mainly because Yuki kinda fell over from the stun after her attack. More importantly, the Aramitama isn't there. At the last minute, he had dashed out along the spear, freeing himself from the pin. Judging by the blood splattering the ground, it wasn't a clean escape.

He's in the air now but it isn't like before. Before when he dashed it was as if he had teleported, as if in an instant, he had moved without moving. Here he's off-balance, tumbling through the air, more as if someone had thrown a ragdoll. His body has basically been blasted apart, no longer one of flesh but of grim curses and dark portents, twisting and shifting in a vaguely humanoid form, a broken hockey mask over a faceless face, a dying star pulsating in his chest as if a heart.

And yet, he continues. He dashes again, this time at Faith, tumbling towards her. He can't be trying to strike, can he? There's no way for him to slash while tumbling, let alone aim with a gun, and with a single step, she could evade him and let him slam into the train roof at her feet. No, he can't be. He's about to cast another spell. Another whirlwind, another storm. Something like that. Something he won't need to aim.

Noriko skids backward with a shout of pain, only to have the wind knocked out of her by the top of the tunnel and the succeeding landing on the train. She took a moment to catch her breath and ensure that she wasn't actually dead, or something. She hurt all over, and she groaned as she levered herself up into a sort of crouch, balancing herself with one hand while the other reached out toward her spear in the distance. The shrinking was enough to free the weapon from where it was embedded, and so she simply tried to direct the weapon toward the Aramitama's core, with as much force as she could muster at this distance.

Seeing the horrifying evil spirit Friday the 13th thing coming at her to kick her ass naturally freaked Faith out pretty badly... and she reacted by taking a big step back, shrieking, and growing her arms out in front of her, crossed... and around her arms sprung up a sheen of red energy in the shape of a circle, Faith instinctively throwing up a shield with a less flagging source of magic than that of her beams, hopefully to keep herself from being quite destroyed by that Aramitama.
Faith uses a Shield of Courage... and then uses a Resolve to reset her world line!

A split second was enough to tell Shef that there was nothing he could do. Minato dashing in, with the Aramitama and Faith at such proximity to each other, made it impossible to get an accurate idea of where to place a portal, much less create one quickly enough. So he simply sat there, waiting to see how this brawl would turn out. A brief impulse popped into his head, and he monotonically stated, "Minato, Minato, he's our man. If he can't do it--" He stopped short. What the fuck am I doing. He returned to watching the battle silently.

Shef watches the battle while twiddling his thumbs. Alter to use a 1.

Coughing, Yoake was, frankly, not in the best state. So, she left the job to Minato.

Instead, she made an effort to get as far away from Jason as possible.
