Yuki probably got the nearest to their new co-workers in terms of distance. She hardly needed a cover, but she'd decided to have one anyway because this was an infiltration and you sort of have to have a cover when you're doing one of these plain-sight infiltrations, right? Right, definitely. She cleared her throat quietly, getting into "character". "Heya! I'm Aiko Satou! Are y'all gonna be workin' with us?"

Her false kansai-region accent was... she was laying it on thick. But it would probably pass.

"Yup. The name's Hideki Mizushima, it's a pleasure to meet you." The boy glances at Noriko "Oh and er, sorry about the mix up, if it's any consolation, you look good in it."

When it had buzzed softly, Shef ignored the scryer, or at least, didn't react visibly. It would be rather depressing if he, of all people, revealed their mission so early, or even aroused suspicion. He'd be surprised if it was anyone other than Yoake, Yuki, or maybe Karen.

Shef stood around quietly for now. No one had asked for names, and it seemed proper for a butler to speak when spoken to, but generally not otherwise. He turned to glance up at the mansion, peering to see whether anything was visible through any of the windows, and blinked. The contacts he had in were just slightly irritating, but they should do the trick. He had a cover of course, just a name, Linden, but hopefully a name would be all that was necessary. He would be careful with any small talk that occurred, and deflect prying questions. That should be easy enough with a position as a butler.

Minato lifts an eyebrow at Hideki and Noriko, resisting the urge to make a smart-ass comment. He'd rather not blow his cover just yet.

Shef
Not much unfortunately, some curtains, some furnishings, nothing really jumping out of you unless you've suddenly developed an interest in interior design.

Minato
"Oh, that eager to start?" he pauses for a moment, examining you before handing you a pager "Hayate, right? There's some guest rooms in need of cleaning, but you'll probably wanna go to your own quarters and unpack. You'll get paged more work when it turns up just, stay away from the mistress' rooms, you'll know them when you see them, part-timers like us aren't allowed in there." Ah yes, that one little problem in your placement, that one niggling little problem that you couldn't fix - you're new, worse you're a part-timer, and a student no-less, second-class doesn't even describe your position, you're lower than that, less than second, less than third. Maybe start at tenth. Maybe lower. You're untrusted, and given the industry you're in, that's a problem, a real damn problem.

For a large enough workplace, a hospital, a firm, it's not too hard to insert a veteran who didn't exist until today, but given something a little smaller, a little more tightly knit, a household for instance, and really this was when it came down to it a de facto household, that becomes out of the question. So you're the new guy. You need to be able to resupply, you need to be able to explain why, explain why you look so young, all questions that could you could slip up on. Not enough to break your cover, it takes a lot to break a cover, but enough to cause issues, uncomfortable questions, more eyes on you. And given the mission, more eyes means more risk, more risk of being thought to be a corporate spy, or something similarly damaging. So that makes you a part-timer, a student. A man with split interests, split focus, and split allegiances, someone still at the cross-roads with the world before you countless paths stretching out to infinity, which is to say a liability.

Perhaps you've spoken to your chauffeur about it, asked about the life he lived, not the supernatural that everyone seems to be so fixated on, but the mundane. This path, this career, it takes sacrifice, dedication. Try having a normal marriage when you're at someone else's beck and call, hell try having even something resembling a typical life, whichever one that is in fashion these days. 40k's the typical starting salary, enough to miss the birth of your child? It better be. Why? Trust, your employer needs to know you're loyal, that when they confide in you, they confide in only you, and when they need something done, they need that something done discretely, even if that something is hiding half a dozen hookers in a yacht the wife is actively searching. A kind of discretion that goes beyond a single principle, because well, let's face it, in this day and age with supply and demand the way it is, it's not hard to switch between them if you so please.

That's, a problem. The trust, not the hookers. You're reasonably certain Lady Appleton isn't so scandalous, or the very least, not married at any rate. Because it doesn't take a genius to guess where the seal would be - somewhere where new servants are not allowed.

"It's alright. Easier to move around in than a dress, although it's not like I'm expecting to need the extra freedom of motion," Noriko blatantly lied. Though she didn't fight in her normal outfit anyway. Moving on, though, she started the rest of the way in. "Can you point me toward our rooms?" A small part of her was paranoid; were they judging her on the way she talked? She didn't think she was a bad speaker, and she had plenty of practice pretending to be a maid, but it was different being around people who actually knew what one was supposed to sound like.

"May I have my pager too? Best to unpack quickly, and make the best first impression, I'd assume." Shef inquired of Hideki. He also thought back in his mind to what he knew of the mansion both from his visual inspection and any outside knowledge of it that he'd gathered in the last week. Anything that would be useful in finding his way around without asking too many questions.

Noriko and Shef
"Sure, I'll lead the way." Handing Shef's pager to him, Hideki leads you through the mansion with practiced grace. The servants quarters are located on the second floor of the west wing, the layout matching the general architectural blueprints, save for the the furnishings, and more worryingly, cameras. They're not too frequent, but frequent enough that whoever's watching them will know when you enter or leave this wing. The other, perhaps more pressing issue, is that these servant's quarters, which honestly are closer to apartment units than anything else, appear to be built to house two each.

Oh. Shef didn't comment on the fact that the rooms were mean to be shared, as it didn't seem like something a butler would do. He supposed he'd likely end up sharing a room with Hayate. "Hideki, are any of these rooms already taken?"

Once he had the answer, he glanced into each unclaimed room, one by one, searching out whether there were adjoined closets or bathrooms, checking whether there were visible cameras in the rooms, whether the layout differed at all, and which would have the best window vantage point.

Shef
"Those two" he gestures to two of the central ones "the rest are free."

Bathrooms are en suite, closets are walk-in, cameras are thankfully absent. The layout remains the same across all rooms. Vantage point-wise, you'd probably want to settle for one of the ones closer to the beginning of the wing, gives a better view of the mansion's entrance and all that, as well as anyone entering or leaving this wing.

Good, even if two people aren't entirely comfortable, bathroom and closet should provide adequate privacy for changing. Shouldn't be a big deal in general. After a brief inspection of the rooms, Shef headed back to the first room and set his stuff down on the bed. He then checked around the room for a note pad and pen, while he waited for the others to come upstairs.

Noriko sighed to herself mentally. Sharing a room wasn't terrible, she supposed, but she had no idea what the bedtime habits of anyone in the group were. Who knew what Yoake got up to. . .? She gave a polite bow to the man that'd led them in and picked out a room adjacent to the one Shef had chosen, setting what little she'd brought with down.

Yoake smiles widely as she follows behind Noriko and Shef, eventually ending up at the rooms as well.

She ponders for a moment, but decides to join Noriko in her room. She seemed lonely, and Yoake was always willing to be a friend.

Slowly walking in, she grins as she creeps up behind Noriko and grabs her shoulders in an attempt to frighten her.

"Boo!"

Minato heads in after Shef, as much as he'd have, say, rather shared a room with Yuki (she was probably a safe choice and there was nothing between them that would lead to indecent things) or Faith.

However, they had no clue he knew any of them and if they did, his cover would be blown, so so much for convenience. Or lewdness.

He takes the other bed that Shef doesn't, unpacking in dead silence.

Noriko whirled on Yoake, simultaneously jumping away from her and swinging a wild punch in her general direction - an action that thankfully stopped once she realized who it was.  "Oh, sh- sorry, um, Otome. Just a little nervous." She frowned. Should she be apologizing? Yoake was the one who had snuck up on her.
