However, whenever I try to test it out (switching [GRAPHICS:NO] to [GRAPHICS:YES]. I'm not that stupid.), it just displays all of the dwarves in ascii.

I can't tell you much, but I'm pretty sure you don't put the file path in. Maybe get hold of some other persons set and look how they made it?

I am looking at the CLA graphics set, and it looks like you put the path.

So the lines after DEFAULT: are pointing to other places in the tileset.

That "0:0" etc, is your tileset coordinates and the grid starts counting at zero.  So while your graphic has only one tile, all of the graphics should point to 0:0.
