It felt a little odd to Liam as he guided his horse through the crowd. They had been in cities, where the crowds were indifferent, but to think these bandits were on their side (allies? underlings?)... That felt different entirely.

Even though he was moving up, he'd hang back a little, wait until the others caught up.
