"We certainly aren't getting paid enough for that trip."

"I suppose I should go with Farra or Sam then, if that if ok with them. Unlike someone we know, I plan to sit in front and keep my hands on the horse the whole ride. The new guy looks pretty light too, he would probably fit."

"If Sam knows how to ride, she's probably a better fit. She's definitely lighter than me, probably even before factoring in armor, but, I'm fine with you riding with me if she can't."

The group made their way to the ambush site, making certain that they were unseen under cover of darkness. By daybreak, they had reached the site, and made a basic camp in order to rest before the day's work.

As the sun began to dip in the sky, clouds of dust rose into the air, signalling the approach of the wagons. Each one was surrounded by armed guards, and were heavily weighed down with tribute. Time to go to work.

Roux had sat bolt upright the entire ride, trying her best to ignore the priest gripping on to her. The heat of the sun in her armour had even made her cheeks go a little red for a bit.
But that's all it was. The sun.
Now her horse browsed nearby as she crouched in the foliage.

Sounds, ahead! It was time.
"Ge' ready, Blueberry." she hissed.

Esther had had a positively delightful ride to the ambush site with Sharne, and did hold on tight as she said she would (onto Sharne's waist, not her chest. She's flirty, not stupid). Those are some nice muscles down there...

As they made it to the road, she got serious. Time to get to work.

Sam wasn't entirely sure why she and Martyn had shared the same horse on the ride over here. She also wasn't sure why she, a support specialist at the best of times, had been positioned closest to the enemy column. Whose idea had that been?

Farra's ride on the way here went well enough, although she did have to lean a bit farther to see some of the turns. However, she did find the current situation strange; usually, she was the one defending the haul, not attacking it.

Though she hated to admit it, she was also kind of scared. These weren't desperate bandits trying to make a living: they were soldiers, with much more training than she could ever dream about. Now that she thought about, the group she was in were the desperate bandits. Huh.

Well then, it's showtime. This... should go ok.

With a silent nod and thumb's up in Martyn's direction, Sam sneaks over to (7,17).

Bertholt, on the other hand, holds. He was a healer; he had no room to fight like the others.

Brock tightens his grip on the hatchet, swinging it through the air several times to pump himself up. His breathing deepens as he springs into action.

Set Snare 5,7, move to 5,14 assuming Liam gets out of the way. Hold otherwise.
