~Enemy Phase 1~

The wagons creaked noisily as they carried their loads through the road.

"Hey, did you hear something?"
"Shut the hell up. You're always hearing something, and I'd rather walk without indulging your paranoia."
"Yeah, last time you heard something it turned out to be a rabbit."
"Yeah but-"
"No, you do this constantly. You need to calm down. Eyes forward, mouth shut."

~Player Phase 2~

Martyn grips his knife tight, peering out from the cover of the trees.  Not yet.  Just needed to wait a little bit longer, and then they could strike.

He holds.

Liam frowned at the sounds of the wagons getting even closer, and retreated a little more into the woods with his horse in tow.

6-10.

Sam swallowed nervously as the head of the column passed around her hiding spot, and tried to sink just a little further into her cover of roots and hedges. In an attempt to combat her nerves, she whistled the song of a type of bird that lived in this area. Luckily she had always been great at imitations.

Perform for Martyn!

Martyn half-moved to silence her, but let his hand fall instead, shaking his head quietly as he faded a bit further into the leaves.  She really was good at imitations, after all.  And it was oddly invigorating to listen.

Not that there was a point, yet.  But they'd be there soon enough.

Martyn holds.

Esther took a quiet breath. There were so many of them. But they had the surprise, and the terrain - they could thin the numbers in their initial strike. Hold

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Brock begins looking for a good position to attack from-holding up in the area.

Roux waited with all the patience of an irate badger, almost vibrating with effort of staying still as stone.

Bertholt retreats to 3,12. If they moved too close to him, he was unarmed.
