Dwarven Democracy
« on: February 22, 2017, 03:13:11 pm »

Hello everyone!

I would like to present to you a community whose objective is to democratically play Dwarf Fortress.

In this community, different persons will be elected to different jobs, and scheduled sessions will be streamed where a host will play the game following the orders of the Ministry.

Here is our subreddit

Here is our constitution

Here is our Discord

I hope you like it!

You bumbled your way into what some people consider winning the game.
My guess is he drew a mushroom on a throne and shoved it in their faces again and again, and kept slapping anyone who looked like they disagree.

We're currently in the process of ratifying the constitution.

I guess this wouldn't be called a community fort but a succession... (?)

I, Imic son of N****, son of E*****, son of... Sorry, I don't know my great - grandad's name, would look to the people of this great and moghty fort, and ask, WILL YOU VOTE IMIC FOR ARCHITECT?
I have great dreams for this fortress, and I see this place to be a great and mighty, multi levelled place, with statues, and windows, and large homes, complete with dining rooms, offices and bedrooms, for every citizen!
So I ask you, will you vote for the person who will give you the lives you have dreamed for all your lives? THIS IS A DEMOCRACY! AND WE SHALL BE FREE!

Vote Imic, vote freedom.
Or something like that.

Pretty neat take on a community fort.
